Thanks for a great experience, we on the ocean, I know I heard people complain about it being wet in the elevator but they had workers cleaning every sec, and see people with wet feet just dragging it back.. thanks for the great customer service, I’ll book again next year 😎 front desk 😎 security 😎 cleaners 😎 everyone ☺️ thanks yall

The Elevators were out of order throughout the whole property. The whole time we were on vacation. Which really was inconvenience for our stay. If I was aware before checking in I would’ve been more relieved. To where I wouldn’t have mentioned it in this review. If I had know I would’ve booked somewhere else. I also got over charged would have never released until I looked at my bank statements. This resort could do a little bit better by prioritizing customers time during their stay. 

Hi, I have never left a review but I can’t not do this review on the landmark resort in Myrtle Beach SC. My stay there was my worst experiences in all my vacations.At check in, I heard people complaining and asking for their money back.But I ignored these complaints and said I will see how my personal experience goes.Then they inform us they don’t accept cash,also if you don’t have your bracelet on, you will be refused services. And Not one person told us about the paid parking fees or the additional $250 authorization charges. So I called the day before our arrival to ask for early check in, and they told me they don’t do that, and said to check in at 4,so we get there around 5:30-6:00 pm to learn our room isn’t ready yet,they gave us $50 to use in their restaurant but you couldn’t use it for alcohol. So we are told the resorts parking is across the street,we were in room 1241, and we had to walk a good distance while carrying our luggage because they weren’t enough carts is my guessing. Then next day we got to Walmart to get some grocery items for our stay, and we had to carry all the bags across the street and to the elevator and that’s a lot of walking and trying not drop stuff.. so we find our room, but it wasn’t easy, because the lady’s at check in desk didn’t give directions to our room. I just so happen to open the fire escape door and boom- there down the hallway is our room. Guys this room was disgusting, having a 15 month old child,we had to clean the kitchen and the doors and front if dressers because of how nasty it was. This was our first vacation in 10 years and we work hard for our money,we’re not rich. We’re not even middle class, so we can’t afford to waste our money. and we needed this trip because my dad died 4 years ago, and my grandma died in January so we were so excited, and we were charged I believe $1,200 or more I actually cried,my OCD, gave me a panic attack. I got pictures and video of our room, and I have never stayed at a hotel that that says house keeping is not available,was told we can get our towels daily from front desk and I asked if we can set out our garbage and dirty towels and I’m assuming it’s fine. And another thing is our toilet broke.. Oh ya,the coffee pot smelled awful and I couldn’t get Starbucks coffee because they wouldn’t except cash-which I’m gonna reach out to Starbucks to ask them if they can do this, with it being a national known brand. Oh ya I cut my leg on bed and I reported it to front desk. The only way I’d ever use this hotel again is if it were free. And we didn’t find the restaurant for the first 2 days..

The stay started out good until my $300.00 Kate Spade sunglasses were stolen the first day we came…. I didn’t realize it until the second day…. Everyday I went to the front desk to see if anyone had a good heart to turn them in…. No luck! I am very disappointed because the only person who went to our room was the maintenance person…. And to add to the disappointment the Gazebo restaurant staff were slow to bring out the food and the food wasn’t even hot considering we waited 40 minutes!😔 The beach was wonderful and the view from our room and great! The room was big and spacious and clean!

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! I've never seen such a blatant example of false advertising. The hallways smelled like urine, the room we were given smelled strongly of mold, which aggravated my asthma and allergies. Fruit flies were everywhere. The bedding was inadequate, with only a thin, flat sheet instead of a blanket. We found hair in the towels, and some towels were clearly not cleaned properly. The pool area was grimy, and the indoor pools had visible dirt and murky water. There was also a used plate with food all over it left in the fridge. DISGUSTING. I reported these issues immediately, but the only resolution offered was a $200 refund out of nearly $1,000 spent. This amount does not reflect the level of discomfort and misrepresentation I experienced. I would have checked out early, but we were stuck due to renovations at our home and unable to find other accommodations in the area. The overall condition of the resort was not only unsanitary but borderline unsafe. I paid for a stay that was supposed to match the resort’s advertised quality and services, and it did not. I contacted my bank for a chargeback, but it was denied—likely due to the resort issuing a partial refund, which seems to have been a way to avoid full accountability. I hope this complaint encourages Landmark Resort and Vacation Myrtle Beach to take these issues seriously and improve both their facilities and their customer service policies.

While the amenities seem nice the place is dirty. The hallways have bags of trash waiting for cleaning to pick up. The elevators are very slow and filled with water and sand. The pools have spoons and other items in the bottom. The hot tub is cloudy and needs a good cleaning. You have to wait forever to get towels and the rooms are not cleaned during your stay. Tubs and toilets are stained. Breakfast is additional. Parking is additional in addition to paying a premium price.
