Holiday Sands North "On the Boardwalk"

This area and property has seen its better days. The rooms aren’t “dirty”, but definitely don’t feel “fresh and clean”. Staff was very friendly. The area around the hotel has a bunch of boarded up properties. Can’t expect much for the price.

Lighting, location,clean beds,ammenities refrigerator microwave toaster closet space were all good. Floors, bathtub were dirty also filter in air conditioner very dirty, did not use.

the room was pretty good. staff friendly. clean room, and hallways. could use some updating.

Stayed last weekend in April 2025. Upon arrival, I was concerned by the outside esthetics of this hotel as it doesn't look clean. The check-in staff were nice so that helped settle some of my initial worries. There was enough parking in front of the building and the elevator arrived quickly. I was in building #2 which has the restaurant. I liked that the rooms are inside so you don't have to deal with the elements. The room actually looked decent to my surprise. It appeared to have been remodeled. I like that the flooring was newer and not the old carpet. It was fairly clean but I reclean every hotel room that I stay in. I like the 2 bedroom set-up and how they are separated by the kitchenette. They had accordian style doors that gave you the illusion of privacy which my teenager liked but they were difficult to close. The beds were standard queens that appeared new but not luxury. The balcony view of the ocean made it all worth it. Pros: -the location (on the boardwalk & beach in the quieter section) -parking was across the street and is ample enough but you got to walk -the TVs in the room are smart tvs- fantastic! -the pool and lazy river are actually warm and you can enjoy them. Free internet access but it isn't secure but you can use it to watch streaming platforms

Came over Easter break. Staff was super friendly and helpful finding things to do.

The location of the property was great. Finding parking was challenging
