The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location near the town and Truro cathedral. Just a little more approval is breakfast. Should have more selected.

Had a fantastic Baby Shower at Hotel Vara yesterday. Fabulous food and they catered for everyone’s dietary requirements. Facilities and venue perfect with a wood burner in the lounge area. We had a great afternoon and the hospitality was amazing. Thank you.

Had a great one night stay at Vara and couldn't fault it. After a nightmare journey to Cornwall, we arrived shattered but were immediately put at ease by the great staff, who looked after us brilliantly. After an easy check-in we dropped down to the bar and had a great Cornish G&T. We decided that we were too tired to trudge around looking for somewhere to eat so we took advantage of the bar menu. The Pizza was top notch and the sharing board of meats were perfect. We slept like a log, so were totally refreshed the next morning fortified by a lovely breakfast and great cup of coffee. Thanks Hotel Vara team, we will be back!

This is the best place I have ever been in the last 10 years. I never thought I would meet such a nice team. I spent three wonderful days in this lovely place early last month and I can say that it was an unforgettable experience. Lovely staff, clean rooms, impeccable breakfast and wonderful location. Such a beautiful and cosy place. What an amazing experience!

I stayed with my partner this past weekend and we stayed in The Studio. The room was huge and had a lovely large bay window. The room was serviced every day by a very chirpy lady called Nilisha ( apologies if I have spelt the name wrong). We enjoyed our healthy breakfast each morning. The roaring fire was cosy in the afternoon and evenings… the food and service was simple but of a great standard. We will definitely be back.

I recently stayed on business, the room was small but perfectly clean and newly refurbished bathroom was a bonus. The breakfast had healthy options and lots to choose from. The location is great, just a short walk into Truro, great for business or pleasure as it is easy to explore the local area. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

Key points ; Nice bar and lounge area Small rooms Poor breakfast the room is nice but you would get a better breakfast in a holiday in express Small rooms which are not cleaned. Overall it looks nice the public areas are kept clean but it's not somewhere I'll rush back to.
