We stayed at The Royal Blue Resort from July 20–26 and had a wonderful time. The resort is spacious yet well-organized, never feeling too spread out. We met lovely people throughout our stay – whether at the bars, in the restaurants, on the beach, or during sports activities – and the atmosphere was always open and friendly. One of the highlights for us was the staff: professional, warm, and genuinely kind without ever being pushy. We had great conversations and felt welcomed on a personal level, almost like being part of a family. What really stood out was the regular phone check-ins from the hotel asking if everything was fine or if we needed anything – something we’ve never experienced before. The food was great, with a good quality rotating buffet that kept things interesting. The drinks, however, were quite pricey. We also booked a massage and a manicure during our stay. Both treatments were excellent, and once again, the staff was incredibly kind and professional. There’s a small shop on-site where you can find basic holiday items like snacks, drinks, sun lotion, souvenirs, and some knock-off branded clothes and accessories. Just outside the resort, there’s a slightly larger store with a wider selection – still no fresh fruit or vegetables, but a good range of cosmetics, sweets, beach gear (like snorkels, swimsuits, hats), spices and more souvenirs. We loved the layout of the resort – the individual buildings give it a village-like charm, allowing for privacy while naturally bringing people together at shared spaces like the beach or breakfast. It creates a very special vibe, especially when you’ve made a few connections. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing yet social holiday in a beautiful setting.
