Villa Evi

I stayed at Villa Evi with some family in July 2023, and the accommodation and service was amazing. We stayed in the luxury 2 bed villa with a private pool, and it was well worth it. The bathrooms are modern and well looked after. The bedrooms were a good size with decent storage space. The outside area and pool has amazing views, the pool water was a good temperature warmed up by the weather and the size of the pool was good. At night the pool was lit up which created a nice vibe. Security patrolled the grounds on an evening, so we felt safe waiting for a taxi at night and returning late. Evi and her husband are great hosts. Evi was very responsive when we messaged her on WhatsApp for any assistance, from ordering taxis to ordering food. We recommend ordering breakfast from the place Evi shared (Nineteen 75), the omelettes and fresh orange juice were amazing. The villa has a kitchen where you can make your own food. The Flora supermarket by the airport is worth a visit, it’s convenient to do your food shop, stock up on water, and has a great vibe. Be prepared to pay for taxis everywhere you go if you don’t hire a car. It was usually €36 one way to anywhere we went, we were around 10-15mins drive from most places we wanted to go. Platis Gialos beach is recommended if you want to try a public beach where the sun beds don’t need booking way in advance, and you can walk out quite far into the water which was nice, the water is very clear. I’m someone who does my research and reads reviews before booking accommodation so I hope this review helps you plan your holiday and decide to stay at Villa Evi. When I was looking for somewhere to stay Villa Evi wasn’t appearing at the top of the searches so I’m glad I found it and didn’t settle for some of the other options which were over priced and did not have an amazing pool and peaceful views like we did. We saved some money booking direct too. A nice villa with a pool and views, good service and location is what I was looking for, and is what I got by staying at Villa Evi.

I did a lot of research into hotels and villas on Mykonos before booking my weeks stay at Villa Evi. The price seemed a good value for a one bedroom suite with a private pool. And it was! The pool deck of the villa was amazing. Gorgeous view. Big pool beautifully lit at night. Two chaises. A day bed. A table for 4. And very spacious. It was the end unit which gave even a better panorama. Sunsets were drop dead gorgeous. We were only guests at complex so it was super quiet and peaceful. The inside of the villa was acceptable. Nothing very special or stylish but ok. The shower had a nice feature showing the water temperature. I wish the sheets and towels had been of a higher quality but we were provided with as many as we requested. The housekeeping was superb. Always kept the unit immaculately clean. You must have some kind of vehicle to stay here. Villa Evi is basically a villa rental with some hotel services offered (no restaurant so no room service). All in all, a lovely stay.
