This was my 3rd booking in Tanzania, and the cleanest and most friendly. Despite Mwanza being overly busy, and a major infrastructure site right behind the hotel (I understand it is NOT the hotel's fault), staff was above par in every way. Rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and restful (once the work stopped each night).

What an amazing hotel! Ryan's Bay Hotel is a gem, and I'm glad I chose to stay there. I always pick a hotel based on the reviews, and this time, I wasn't disappointed.

Clean. Quiet. The room is spacious and has everything you need. Beautiful garden around and nice view on the lake. The staff is attentive and polite. We liked the place and would like return to stay.

Ryan’s Bay was recommended by our safari guide. Traveling very far from the USA, I wanted to be sure that our accommodation was satisfactory. I was little skeptical because our first choice looked better online. When we arrived we knew that we had made an excellent choice. The front desk attendant was friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful! We loved our spacious, authentically situated room. The beautiful view of Lake Victoria from both our room and the outdoor dining area was perfect. The food and service was amazing!

Excellent place to visit with unique layout and friendly staff whom speak Kiswahili, english and hindi, food is always fresh and prepared with upmost care, Excellent location right by lave Victoria, town centre and the famous Bismarck rock

Ryan’s Bay is an amazing resort in Mwanza! We came for a Safari and stayed at Ryan’s Bay. We were so fortunate as they have their own Safari company and was able to arrange the entire trip! We were met with smiling faces from the staff who spoiled us the entire time! We ate almost all our meals at Ryan’s Bay and the food was amazing! The staff and owners are extremely nice and helpful! I highly recommend this resort if you’re coming to Mwanza!

Comfortable, spacious room in a convenient area! The room I received had a huge living area with kitchenette and a large balcony overlooking the pool and lake. Really nice setup.
