Hi So my sister and I had booked our stay at your Mussorie property. Subsequently due to an emergency my sister had to book an early morning departure from Dehradun. Due to rains the road from Mussoorie to Dehradun had landslides and debris at several points. My sister would have had to leave as early as 2 am in the dark. As a solo female and considering the erratic rains we had requested for a cancellation of the last day (16th September). Request was raised via goibibo. A gentleman from your management called on 15th and confirmed my request considering the precarious situation and the risk a female travelling alone at 2 am would have to take and informed that he will confirm the cancellation request with goibibo. Despite repeated communication and even after sharing the call log with your team of the confirmation I had received from you, I have still received no confirmation as informed by goibibo. I will request you to fulfil your commitment and revert back and resolve the issue with goibibo. Thank you once again.

Our stay was amazing. During the course of two days that we stayed there, everything was great from the start. The staff was really friendly, especially Mahika who had made sure that our stay from starting to end was flawless and made sure that we faced no issues. With the help of Mr. Pawan, he was really kind enough to make a customizable experience and trip for us when it came to sightseeing. The rooms were very comfortable as well. If you want to have a peaceful and calm stay near nature this property is the one you should be going for and it is easily accessible with convenient access to mall road.

We had booked their luxury cottage, a two-room mini apartment. Rooms are spacious, well lit, airy and fairly furnished. Each room had a double bed, and a couch. There was a small dining table with 4 chairs, 3 of which had broken seats that toppled off each time we sat on them. The wardrobes are unusable and smelly - the height inside is so less that you can't even hang a shirt properly, forget any longer garment. In one of the rooms the storage is cramped besides the bed making it unusable. The mattresses are sagging and need a replacement. The linen is full of lint and dust, it seems no vaccum is ever done. The locks on the doors are very inconveniently low, you need to stoop down to even open them. It seems they were installed for midgets. The way to the rooms is via 2 flights of stairs. To reach the dining area, again you need to climb down and then again climb up the stairs. Keep this in mind if you have any traveling members with discomfort in climbing stairs. Washrooms are spacious but the toilet seats are miniatures, perhaps meant only for the kids. Towels are provided, and so is soap and shampoo (via dispensers). No separation of wet and dry area leads to an all-wet floor after someone has taken a bath, something very annoying for us. No floor mats are provided for drying feet inside the washroom. Taps, faucets are clean, functional. Both rooms have large windows, so you get a lot of light and also some hill views. But the balcony is reachable only via the bigger room. So, you need to disturb the occupants each time you wish to access the balcony. The sliding doors to the balcony are rickety, old, and barely functional. The balcony is the only small open to air space in this so-called luxury cottage, and usable when the monkeys are not around. There is no parking space inside the hotel. All vehicles need to be parked on the road, which is quite cramped. There is no gym, no indoor games, no spa, no gym, no garden, no safe area for small kids to be on their own. They have installed FireTV sticks on each TV in the rooms, but the viewing experience is not good due to the poor WiFi bandwidth. Breakfast buffet is humble. The pre-made tea was not great, but when we asked for it, we were provided freshly made masala tea upon request. The coffee was again bad. You can order an omelette, you get boiled eggs, paranthas, pakodas, daliya, poha, vermicelli, brown bread sandwich, cornflakes, some cut fruit. We did not find it delicious at all, it was very average food. We did order food from room service and again found it very average. Finally, we had terribly sleepless nights due to dogs barking constantly throughout the night. The 100 year-old windows provided almost no sound insulation. For the price (almost USD 140 per night) I would have expected- a much better upkeep, more polished furnishings and much better-quality breakfast. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed, bad staff, doesn't know how to talk to guest, never book this hotel at any price......let me share my experience: Day 1 I booked for 2 nights ....3rooms Day 1 before I called the reception four times that my room should be ready by 12 noon the reception confirmed that the rooms are ready....on arrival rooms were dirty even bed sheets were scrambled as someone was sleeping there We got rooms at 1.30 pm On using the toilet no flush not the jet spray was working I tried to look for the intercom but none was there I had to go personally to reception to complain. Lunch bill. ..food was average but bill was disastrous it had items we didn't even order And price were all charged way more than what was mentioned in the Menu Bigg fraud hotel At time of leaving room door lock got stuck because it was of cheapest quality that can be fitted and it took 20 minutes to get right Our full day was spoiled because they provided late rooms and then no water to freshen up and at last door lock.....we didn't even cover single location only was able to go to Mall road Next day (day 2) Morning again no water in toilet and no water to bath Still intercom phone not provided I hv to go personally to reception Breakfast already included in our stay @150/head Only 2 item provided in breakfast that too only 1 plate per head,only 1 coffee per head If u ask 1 more u hv to pay On requesting some more options on breakfast cook said tell to reception, reception said u can tell cook in the morning 7.30am because that's when he prepares We complained to reception about water and asked them to clean rooms and we left, on returning we found only 1 room was clean other 2 rooms were not clean Again water was not there in toilet and jet spray not working, still no intercom provided On complain he said motor chala di h and no staff so morning me hi hoga Now after some arguments he provided a phone in my room Day 3 (check out) Morning called cook at 7.30 am to ask for menu options in break fast,he said only 1 item today, On asking other options he said no we don't hv anything else and disconnected the call without Letting me reply At time on breakfast coffee and tea not provided Called cook he said milk finish no tea or coffee for u all, Again no water in bathroom So finally 0 stars For bad service, bad staff, bad breakfast, no toilet, no bathroom, no water , fraudulent bill, rude cook And wasting so much time because of their incompetent behaviour......and also worst road leading to hotel no one can reach hotel without banging his car in something because unmanageable downslope Again worst stay Only advice is whatever may be the reason don't book this hotel
