Citadines Al Ghubrah Muscat Reviews

Truly amazing hospitality from all staff at Citadines Al Ghubrah Muscat. Addressed all my questions, and the room was very clean. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, and Ramadan decorations were a nice touch, too. Nice spacious rooms. Only 12 mins walk from the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. If I revisit Muscat, I won't hesitate to book here again.

Excellent customer service. Pool and gym have great views. Area close to many restaurants and stores. Several grocery stores within walking distance.

Brilliant stay, very clean and comfortable. Good location with lots of cafes and restaurants around as well as shops. Staff are extremely friendly and went above to accommodate for our stay. We where able to leave luggage in the hotel while we spent some time in Nizwa. Ample free parking too.

Location is in a good neighborhood, you can cook and the room is spacious. Suitable for long stays. However for me, there are better hotels to stay at in the same price range. Encountered a problem multiple times with the door lock, overall it's ok. The wifi is also good.

It was difficult to find a hair dryer and I called the reception. Iit was in the wardrobe. Other than that, the bed is big and there was a kitchen. I recommend it

We stayed at the Citadines for the Eid holiday. It was very clean and well maintained. We got the studio which had all the necessary appliances to make our stay great.

My review is about what happened after I left the hotel. By mistake, I left behind my jewellery, which was a combination of real gold, designer and custom jewellery, worth a few hundred £££. When I realised I left it behind the following day after travelling and called the hotel, I was initially told and reassured that someone would contact me. Nobody did. I called a second time and was told the same thing, yet again, nobody contacted me. On the third occasion, after a couple of seconds I was informed that no jewellery had been found by room service, when initially they said they would need to contact the room service team. When I queried how they knew this in a couple of seconds, I was given no response. I asked to speak to the manager, as I didn't feel the matter had been looked into properly amd was promptly told that there are no managers. I contacted Trip.com to help and they too did nothing, apart from contact the hotel and got the same response. I was lied to by Citidines and was never contacted the first two times like they said they would and was promptly dismissed of any query after that. I do not believe that the room was checked thoroughly, no investigation took place and genuinely believe that the jewellery was taken by someone who works at Citidines, due to its monetary value. Genuinely gutted and disappointed that they could not conduct themselves properly.

The hotel is in a quiet and nice area, the staff are very helpful. There is a coffee shop in the lobby. The swimming pool is nice and warm

It was a beautiful hotel. It is in Alghubrah area, very near to shops and restaurants.
