Centara Life Muscat Dunes Hotel

The hotel provides a range of amenities, a pleasant Thai ambiance, and excellent service. Convenient location, comfortable beds, and spotless cleanliness receive praise. Some rooms offer a pleasant view of the dunes.

We needed a hotel for one night, so we tried to find "economy" class option and chose this hotel. I guess it's quite challenging in Oman. I was a bit disappointed with the experience. The bedsheets and pillows are yellowish colour. So we slept on the duvet cover wearing our clothes. There was an insect on the pillow. Was it a bedbug, a baby cockroach or a mite, I have no idea, but that was awful. One of the windows was broken and open, so we had to sleep like that. There was no "dunes" view like somebody wrote here. The windows are dirty. There are sanitary kits, slippers, 2 bottles of water, but all this don't outweigh the quality of beds. I have to say that the breakfast is delicious with some traditional dishes what is very interesting. Overall, there are, for sure, things to be improved in the rooms.
