Grand Hyatt Muscat is a resort spread over 10 acres on the soft sandy beaches of Shatti Al Qurm. It is located only 18km from Seeb International Airport in the exclusive residential 'Embassies' district at 12 km from the Ruwi business district and at 18km from the old historical capital of Muscat. The hotel overlooks the azure waters of the Gulf of Oman and is comprised of 280 rooms including 44 Executive suites, 3 Regency suites, 6 Crown suites and one Royal suite. We kindly inform you that currently our Swimming pool and its restaurant, as well as garden will be undergoing excessive refurbishment and remain closed until further notice. We still offer our hotel guests an access to the public beach in front of the hotel as well as a shuttle bus to a close by hotel swimming pool. Thank you for your understanding and we cannot wait to welcome you in these newly renovated areas soon. Hotel no access beach under maintenance and pool also not available. Front dest staff called me after checking in in one hour. I have just slept from a long flight to tell me you are welcome . Staff not trained well neet improvement.

The hotel is nice, but it is being reconstructed. Half of the services are not provided. The pool is closed. That is the only reason we wanted to go there. But no one warned us in advance

Without any prior information, upon arrival we discovered that the entire exterior is under repair. The hotel is large and spacious, but quite old. The service is intended to be quality but does not reach the standards of other equivalent hotels. No doubt the immobilization of part of the hotel under repair has affected the quality of the services. The end of the repairs is scheduled for May 2025, with a swimming pool and a new exterior.

Arrived very late. The room facilities are old, one of the sockets is broken, and there is no toothbrush. The corridor is also old, and the breakfast is average.
