Murren Hotels with Wi-Fi

Magical stay in Murren, Switzerland as newlywed couple. We stayed in this property for 3 days and 2 nights; February 10-12. We deliberately chose Murren as our base in exploring the nearby villages in Jungfrau region. It was winter time when we went there and we experienced snow. It was so magical. The backdrop of our room view is the well admired- Eiger mountain. Pros: 1. 5 minute walk from Murren cable car station. Lauterbrunnen (bus)-Stechelberg (cable car) -Gimmelwald (cable car)- Murren. Nothing to worry with this one it is convenient. 2. Giving a typical Swiss house experience with the view surely worth the memory lane 3. Great food served by restaurants, we dined on our first night. Cons: 1. No 24-hr reception staff 2. Combined single beds and uncomfortable though combined as one Overall still, 10/10.

Very very good! Be sure to book a room facing the mountain. At first I thought it was an old and run-down mountaineering hotel, but it was actually very exquisite. The amenities were from L'Occitane, and the hotel's internal facilities were also new, much better than what the photos showed. The hotel facilities were also very convenient, with a swimming pool and a gym. I was given a large piece of chocolate when I checked out!

The surrounding environment is very good, skiing down from Schilthorn can be directly slipped to the hotel, very convenient. Take a 1-minute left exit from the hotel to be a sports shop and rent a ski. I forgot to contact the hotel when I came, and I dragged the box and walked for more than 10 minutes from the cable car station to the hotel. When we left, the hotel drove us to the car and the service was very good. Breakfast is OK, buffet, just can't order the favorite omelet. The room we stayed in was not big, we couldn't add a bed, parking could only stop at the parking lot under the mountain, the whole murren could not drive.

Great location for a ski holiday and base for watching the World Cup races in Wengen. We stayed in a spacious family room for 2 adults and one child. Very clean, warm, lots of hot water and good wardrobe space. Hairdryer was good and plenty of electric sockets for charging. Breakfast was great with cereals, birchermüsli, cheese, bread, fruit, eggs, croissants etc. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We chose the half board option with a 3 course meal in the evening. Food was delicious and large portions after big ski days. Vegetarian and children were catered for. Excellent pasta dishes and steaks. Good wine list too. Waiters were very attentive and service was quick. Hotel is in a superb location. 3 minutes from the Stechelberg cable car, 7 minutes walk from train station and right beside the funicular so ski in / ski out. We hired a sleigh from the cable car station to transport our luggage to the hotel. 20 CHF deposit. Easy access to their boot room. Thank you for a lovely stay!
