The Victoria Inn

The Victoria Inn is situated perfectly in the middle of Murphys. It is very charming and we picked a great time to get lucky with reduced crowd size around town. During busier times, past reviews indicated the Inn would be noisy, but it was quiet for us. I had been concerned about the Sycamore room being noisy from the next-door rooms and the balcony overlooking the V Bistro down below, but it was not an issue. Plus, there is a 10 pm noise ordinance around Murphys. The bed was comfortable, the sitting area had two chairs (so many rooms have just one chair so the other person is awkwardly sitting on the bed or something). The shower was low-pressure but was nice. The amenities of a Bed and Breakfast are wonderful. I was concerned that the continental breakfast was going to be too light for me (I eat a lot), but they had hard-boiled eggs, good oatmeal, cold cereal, a nice selection of toast and bagels, fruit, teas, and coffee. It was wonderful considering the reasonable price we paid per night. They have cookies, madeleines, and water at the ready down in the breakfast area. The parking lot is small, but there is street parking and you really don't use your car at all once you park it. You can walk to both ends of town and sample the restaurants and wine-tasting rooms. Overall, my wife and I would stay here again. Do make sure you look at their website as they detail each room you could stay in. Some have showers, some have tubs. The front desk is in from about 8 am to 7 pm so get what you need by the time they leave or else just wait until the morning.

Charming room and very clean. This couldn’t be more centrally located. Perfect for a safe stay in town, with walking distance to everything you need. We loved our stay, and will be back for sure. We stayed in the Doris room. And the staff was informative and very friendly!

Just Right The stay hit the spot fir comfort, ambiance and convenience. Very cozy and good location for food, winer, breweries hikes and more.

Absolutely lovely place to stay in Murphys, close to all the wine.

We will never rent with CB Rental Properties or VRBO again ever. The condo was misrepresented in many ways in print, and when we complained nothing was done. Fithy window, modest view, filthy elevator, disgusting area, noisy bedroom with a small window opening to the public hallway. CB Rentals wouldn’t call us back so we had to hound them. VRBO just gives platitudes. We stayed at the condo for 30 minutes and then vacated and found the last room at Kea Lani in Wailea and grabbed it. This is no way to begin a holiday. Nor will we accept throwing away 7500.00. Shame on VRBO and CB Rentals. We travel the globe half the year and have never been treated as such nor seen such misrepresentation.

The Victoria Inn was phenomenal, and I cannot recommend this bed and breakfast enough. The beautiful building, the beautiful rooms (and the most comfortable beds!), the incredible attention to detail and all the little things in between make this a place I would stay again and again.
