Das Hotel ist sehr schön fast unmittelbar am See gelegen. Nur eine Straße und eine Promenade befinden sich zwischen dem Hotel und dem See. Sehr gut reist es sich mit dem Zug an, da der Bahnhof nur 5 bis 10 Minuten entfernt ist. Mit dem Ticinoticket, welches in der Kurtaxe enthalten ist, kann man in ganz Tessin kostenlos mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr fahren. Das Hotel hat auch Zimmer mit Bergblick, wobei man dann auch die Züge vom Bahnhof und Fahrzeuge von der Straße hört. Das Personal ist sehr nett und stets hilfsbereit. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Auch das Frühstück ist ausreichend vielfältig und das Essen im Restaurant hat stets geschmeckt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

Bereits schon mehrmals im La Palma übernachtet ob alleine oder als Paar, man fühlt sich jederzeit willkommen, von den Receptionisten, über Gastro-, zu Reinigung- und Wellnesspersonal, alle grüssen freundlich und haben immer ein Löcheln im Gesicht. Das ist etwas vom Besten im La Palma, natürlich nebst Jacuzzi, tolle Aussicht und Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Ich liebs!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, direkt am See gelegen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet und wirken gut unterhalten. Das Bad war in unserem Zimmer sehr klein, es kann nicht zu zweit genutzt werden aufgrund der engen Platzverhältnisse. Die Zimmer sind sauber, wenn auch der Zimmerservice täglich etwas anders vergisst. So wurde an einem Tag kein neues Mineralwasser bereitgestellt, am nächsten Tag, die kleine Handtücher nicht ersetzt, Tags darauf die Bademäntel nicht. Ein Parkplatz ist vorhanden, dieser liegt hinter dem Hotel und ist durch eine Einbahnstrasse zu erreichen. Für diesen werden stolze 17 CHF pro Tag extra verrechnet. Der Frühstücksraum ist bei schlechtem Wetter (wenn die Terrasse nicht genutzt werden kann) viel zu klein. Hier ist Wartezeit zu rechnen. Das Buffet am Frühstück ist bei hohem Aufkommen auch teilweise sehr geplündert, diverse Sachen werde auch nicht nachgefüllt. Insgesamt ein nettes Hotel, mit guter Lage, freundlichem Personal, aber diverse Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut geeignet.

We enjoyed very much our short break at the Hotel La Palma au Lac. Excellent location on the lake front, clean room, courteous and helpful staff, really appreciated the sauna and steam room facilities. Aiming to be back soon to try the restaurants.

Schön gelegenes Hotel in Locarno-Muralto mit direktem Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Supertolles und sehr reiches Frühstücksbuffet. Schönes und sauberes Superior-Zimmer. Sehr netter und zuvorkommendes Receptionsteam. Gerne wieder einmal... :-)
