Ich bin überrascht über die zum Teil sehr kritischen Bewertungen hier. Ich kann das Hotel nur loben. Sehr ansprechendes Design, wohltuend zurückhaltend. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, Ein- und Ausschecken unkompliziert, auch im Restaurant sehr angenehm. Richtig gutes Abendessen, das gleiche gilt fürs Frühstück. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur großen Durchgangsstrasse aber die Fenster lassen allen Lärm draussen. Der Preis ist stolz, aber wenn das der Markt in Münster hergibt... Das Internet funktioniert ohne Störung, vom Bahnhof aus läuft man weniger als 10 Minuten, auch ins Zentrum ist es nicht weit.

"auf Grund technischer Probleme mit meinem Zimmer" habe ich bei Ankunft erfahren dass das viele Wochen zuvor gebuchte Zimmer für mich nicht verfügbar war. Wie das bei einem 4* Hotel passieren kann konnte mir nicht beantwortet werden. Es wurde mir ein Hotelzimmer im Novotel inklusive Taxitransport organisiert - das musste ich so hinnehmen, da ich keine Zeit für spontane Recherche eines Hotels am Freitag Abend hatte. Das Ganze war sehr ärgerlich, aber für mich am bedenklichsten: Das musste mir alles die nette Mitarbeiterin sagen, die immer wieder zwischen mir und dem Manager hin und hergehen musste. Ich wäre davon ausgegangen, dass so etwas in einem 4*Hotel vom (anwesenden) Manager selbst erledigt wird. Ärgerlich ist auch, dass versucht wurde mir den Originalbetrag über Booking zu verrechnen (über 150Euro) - erst auf Nachfragen stellte sich heraus, dass das Novotel Zimmer nur 139 Euro kostet. Hatte mich aufs Hotel gefreut, und mein zeitlich sehr genau geplanter Trip wurde durch den ganzen Hotelwechsel komplett durcheinander gebracht.

Münster at it’s best
Perfekter Ort in Münster. 10 Min. zum Hbf zu Fuß, direkt am Rundweg um Münster gelegen, ist das der Ausgangspunkt um Münster zu entdecken. Die Bar ist top, Frühstück ebenso. Wir sind zum dritten mal im Mauritzhof.

Wij waren op oudjaarsnacht in dit hotel. Wat een genot! Heerlijke bedden en een prima ontbijt. De receptie is professioneel en wijst je graag op de mogelijkheden in de stad Munster. Het hotel is modern zakelijk ingericht. De kamers strak en comfortabel. De locatie is net buiten het centrum. Ca 5 minuten lopen en je bent in het centrum. Het ontbijt was goed en divers. Je kon eigenlijk alles krijgen. Van decaf koffie tot verse jus. Het hotel was vol en wij hadden de avond van de 31 ste gereserveerd bij restaurant Spitzner een topplek! Wij wren voor de t****e keer in dit hotel en kunnen het zeker aanraden.

De kamer is ok, goed bed en redelijk rustig. De airco werkt niet goed waardoor het benauwd voelt. Het oudejaarsdiner een beetje een sof. Ze hadden het restaurant blijkbaar overboekt en wij werden met een ander stel in de bibliotheek geparkeerd. Terwijl we toch echt gereserveerd hadden, ruim van tevoren. Dat ging allemaal niet zo soepel. Het personeel wist niet goed raad met de situatie, weinig georganiseerd. Geen menukaart of tafelkleed, of placemat, het bord zo op de tafel. Broodjes bleken er achteraf wel te zijn, alleen werden die niet gebracht en wij wisten het niet, jammer genoeg. Een paar ka****n voor de sfeer kwamen pas na een hele tijd. Gezellig maar niet heus. Wel werden er met grote regelmaat nieuwe drankjes aangeboden (veel te vaak). Na een uur of 2 konden we alsnog verhuizen naar het restaurant. Daar was het door de erbarmelijke akoestiek een ongelooflijke herrie, waarbovenop de live muziek nog kwam. Praten was eigenlijk niet te doen, je moest schreeuwen. We verlangden bijna terug naar onze bibliotheek… De bediening was trouwens wel vriendelijk en snel.
