I recently stayed at Grand Valley resort in Munnar and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I had high expectations based on the reviews and the hotel’s rating, but I encountered several issues during my stay. **Cleanliness:** The room was not properly cleaned upon my arrival. There were visible stains on the sheets and a musty smell in the room. The bathroom had mold in the shower, and the towels looked old and worn. **Service:** The staff was unhelpful and unprofessional. My requests for basic amenities like extra towels and toiletries were ignored, and I often felt like I was being a burden when asking for assistance. **Facilities:** The advertised amenities were either not available or in poor condition. The pool was closed without any prior notice, and the fitness center had broken equipment. The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow, making it difficult to get any work done. **Value:** For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard of service and accommodation. The overall experience did not justify the cost, and I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. **Conclusion:** I would not recommend staying at Grand Valley resort in Munnar. There are better options in the area that offer better value for your money. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

Grand valley resort enjoys an excellent location in chithiapuram, only 5 km rishaw ride from the main center. It is built is small valley right in front of tea gardens. The resort rooms have wooden decor, very apt with hill station overlooking balcony where you can see acres of green tea gardens in the backdrop of nilgiri mountains. The restaurant overlooks the tea garden. The only negative part in the resort is the variety and quality of food offered. Also the dinner hall has loud music which makes the hill station tranquility experience completely negative.

Very very bad thing for everything because we don't get any type of good facility and we get very bad service ... The manager's behaviour is very bad and we are not compromise by this ... Very bad behaviour of service and maintenance . They are faulting us about the mistakes but we are the guests and we will also coperate as the guests...🙂

Location is good, but I feel in Munnar where ever you go views are awesome. Something to consider, rooms with best views dont have ACs. Please dont eat breakfast here, even if it is free. I found 2 cockroaches in my idly, Hoping that I hadnt eaten the 3rd one.

Very well behaved staff, very comfortable rooms, superb location, good breakfast and they provide us an extra bed without any extra charges, nice pool with scenic view and bonfire with music. All up to the mark. Only one issue is we have to Trek minimum 50 mtrs from delux roomd every time we go to pool or bonfire or restaurant that's a Lil minus for me. Ot hi erwise everything is very good.
