The Meetings B&B

Very basic More like a hostel than a B&B Very tired and besides the bedroom everything needed to be updated or even a coat of paint would help. Very basic breakfast. We won’t be returning.

I, and some of my siblings and their families, spent 2 nights at the Meetings while in Wicklow for a funeral. The rooms were very comfortable with lovely updated bathrooms and a huge deck overlooking the Meeting of the Waters. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruits and hot and cold dishes, as much as you could eat. The owner allowed us to plan a post-funeral get together for a large group of friends and family. While the Meetings couldn't provide food, they were kind enough to set up plenty of tables, chairs and settings and set out the food (which we brought in from Avoca) on a buffet table along with tea/coffee. The owner's kindness and generosity at this difficult time was and is greatly appreciated. I am just sorry it has taken me so long to add this review, it's been a crazy summer.

Tired, tired, tired. Very run down, no care given to this hotel. Does not appeal to the eye on arriving at all. Very basic.

Awful place advertised as a bed and breakfast and had no breakfast. Also advertised as a restaurant no food. Staff weren’t great either I felt robbed . It’s like there’s no interest in the place. It’s got great potential but to advertise as a b+b and then try charge €30 for breakfast was hard to take.

Location is beautiful however the building has been neglected. Could do with care and attention. Bedrooms were adequate with fresh linen however bathroom was only surface clean. Very noisy even with ear plugs with thin bedroom walls. Breakfast offered a small selection of continental and 3 hot options. Was cafe ok. Dining room had awesome view but needed a good tidying and upgrade. The hostess dressed inappropriately at breakfast with what looked like a black slip dress a teenager would go clubbing in. Overall ok stay but would rather stay at Woodbridge Hotel and pay the extra. Their food was amazing at dinner.

What a beautiful place to stay. It is set in the most beautiful scenic location. We had an absolutely wonderful relaxing time here... Lovely spacious, clean room with incredible view over the meetings of the water. Fab comfortable four poster bed. Had a couple of drinks in the bar with the locals and totally enjoyed the craic. Very friendly owners and breakfast was very nice indeed. Restaurant not open but went to lovely restaurant in Rathdrum just 6 km away. We can't wait till we come back to stay again. Top marks to one and all here.
