Munich Hotels with Wi-Fi

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sofitel Munich. The room we were staying at 425 had a nice spacious room with many amenities. All the staff were very friendly especially Manager Mr. Umut was very accommodating and very helpful. He was always greeting us with a smile and took care of all our needs and requests. The bar was also very luxurious with many nice cocktails. We will miss Sofitel and will definitely come back next year!

Good location but you get what you pay. Bed mattress very poor and soft. Breakfast buffet but very simple. Nice staff and good WiFi. Unfortunately not minibar in the room. However I would come back

Nice stay. Good access with car and good connection to the city center. U-bahn is next to the hotel. Rooms are good. Bunk beds could have higher guardrails. Breakfast is good and you have a lot to choose from. Juice glasses could be bigger (now only 1 dcl). Parking is a bit expensive (18€/day).

It's two years ago this weekend that I stayed in this hotel. I meant to post a review at the time (but I forgot!). Anyway, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Munich. Rates were incredibly good value (when I visited). Room was large, spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The immediate surrounding area isn't exactly pretty. Think functional. But it's very safe and there is a large supermarket next door. As long as you do your research and realise that it's not a city centre location it's a great choice. Public transport in Munich is excellent. There is a tram stop/terminus next to the hotel and a bus stop also (which will bring you to an underground station in a couple of minutes). It takes no longer than about 20/25 minutes to get into the city (with transfers). It's also easy to get to by public transport from the airport (if you plan).

Good hotel. Lovely staff, loyal to understanding, service at the highest level. The hotel itself is located in the center, which already speaks of the convenience of visiting. Inside the room, complete noise isolation. If you visit Munich as a tourist, you will definitely check in * Premier Inn München Cyty (Zentrum) * 😘👌 💋BAGDASAROV

The hotel was cozing and had good accomodations. Although not too modern, the room was equipped with everything we needed and had great acoustics. Parking in the surroundings was not very easy depending on the moment of the day. Breakfast was nice, with variety of food and typically German food included. The staff was nice but not very welcoming. The neighborhood was not very near to the city center, but that worked out really good for us, since we got to experience the local life.

I booked this hostel last minute, and I've never stayed in a hostel before, so I can't really compare it to other places. Despite reading reviews on Hostelworld about the single rooms being hot, I have no complaints about the room. I stayed in Munich when the temperature had a low of 20 Celcius and a high of 30. I had no issues with the room. I did have a large fan on in the room, which kept it cool. My room also had its own balcony and I sat outside to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect for those who love their own space or couple. My only gripe was that the WiFi was slow at times, so I couldn't even search the website to test internet speed. I had a data roaming plan, so this wasn't that big of an issue. I would stay here again if I'm back in Munich. A Lidl at the end of the street and the Train station is a 2-minute walk away. It couldn't get better.

The first floor is too hot, the second floor is good, the breakfast is awesome, the first floor is booked, the fat guy at the front desk is very patient to help change the room and want to tip when checking out, but he rests, the hotel is recommended!

When we turned up at the hotel at no fault of the hotel the holiday company we used did not change the dates of our hotel (from 26-29th to 27-30th) in line with our flights. This was quickly sorted by signing a form to confirm that this was the case. Then on our last night I was in the room by myself when a man that had just checked in had let himself into the room, he soon realised and walked straight back out. Shortly after I had a receptionist named Mustafa I have been told barge into the room demanding that I pack and leave right away as I should not be there. He threatened to ring the police if I did not leave right away. He did not want to listen to a word I said when I tried to explain to him the situation that I thought could have been the mix up, I rang my boyfriend to come straight up to the room. The tone and manner of this staff member was completely unacceptable. As soon as my boyfriend arrived his manner changed completely and became very polite. My partner went down to reception to try and sort things out to which he got shown the form we filled in on arrival with it forged, the date had been crossed out and edited which I’m assuming is to try and cover up the fact they were in the wrong. Never experienced anything like this anywhere I have travelled before. Definitely did not feel safe by myself as a woman. So disappointed after such a lovely holiday this completely changed the tone and ruined it 😢

It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).
