I’m quite particular about my hotel choices and researched several five-star options; I am very pleased with our stay in Munich. Location/Location/Location: Just a 1-minute walk from Marienplatz, Munich's central hub, this hotel is situated on a quiet side street, avoiding the hustle and bustle of crowds. It's conveniently located next to the historic Frauenkirche, offering the perfect blend of centrality and tranquility. Room: The room was clean and modern. I stayed in a standard room for three nights, and it was quite pleasant. It featured high ceilings, a sleek and simple design, air conditioning, soundproof windows, automatic blinds, a large safe, complimentary water bottles, slippers, bathrobes, and a bar with extensive selection of drinks and various high-end glasses, turn-down service. Service: The service was good, though it varied depending on the staff member. Upon check-in, we were offered a choice of cold water, soft drinks, or prosecco. While the room included an extensive minibar, obviously it wasn’t complimentary. I noticed that the refrigerator was stocked with various drinks, which I prefer to be empty so I can store my own items. I requested that the hotel clear it out, and they accommodated my request promptly. Airport Access: The airport is easily accessible, with a 13-Euro ride on the S-Bahn train (lines S1 or S8). The train station is just a minute away from the hotel.
