Comfort Inn & Suites Atoka-Millington

This hotel is horrible! Mold everywhere, odd substances running down room walls, ripped open furniture in the rooms, toothpaste on the Kleenex holder, water still in the ice bucket and dark stains on the lid, moldy bed skirts, and shower curtain rods falling off the wall. At checkin I asked To move from the room I was checking into due to mold and damp walls. I had pulled the covers down to check for bed bugs before seeing the mold on the bed skirt and gross wet walls.. that room was later given to another person in our party with the bed still Unmade and mold still There. My new room I cleaned myself As they had no more rooms and were not willing to let anyone in our party check out without penalty nor did they have rooms to Move us to. All the rooms were basically the same. Also, this hotel Is advertised as non smoking but you can smoke and pay a fee just the same was if you bring an animal so every room Our team had smelled of stale smoke. I placed a complaint with Choice on day 1 and they opened a case. When I checked out today I mentioned all this again and was offered nothing more than an apology! Just don’t stay here!

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! My room reeked of mildew/must. Probably a result of some type of mold growing somewhere. I requested a new room, but was told there were no vacancies. I then requested that the air filter in the A/C unit be replaced; Staff said yes, but never did it. The next morning staff assured me they’d get my room cleaned, but no one ever came to clean. The following morning I was promised a room cleaning to eliminate the stench, but yet again no one came to clean. I ended up sleeping in my car. To top it all off, I tried to shower one of these days and was met with a clogged drain that then resulted in STANDING WATER. Upon check out, I aired my grievances and was told that nothing could be done as there was no supervisor on duty. I called Choice Hotels this morning and was offered “points” for some sort of bogus award system that I want nothing to do with because I will never be staying in another hotel under the Choice Hotel umbrella EVER AGAIN. So now I’m out $518.94 because these SCAMMERS will not provide me a refund. AGAIN, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, STAY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED.

Requires two days in advance to cancel instead of one. They would not accept my rewards points. I was told by staff three times that the manager would call me back. I never received a call. Was charged $120 for a room I never used. Definitely would not recommend staying or booking at this hotel.

We came to celebrate our great granddaughter's first birthday. My son, daughter-in-law, my wife and I had two rooms and were able to utilize the breakfast room for our family gathering. I have never experienced nicer, more helpful, more willing to help staff personnel including the motel manager. The inn is clean and well ordered. Coffee, water, condiments, are always there for the customers. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are super comfortable, and housekeeping personnel were great. Breakfast was super. Sweet rolls, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, toast, cereal, orange juice, milk, the works. The breakfast room was sparkling clean and in great order. Great parking, on and off Highway 51 access, reception area was super comfortable and clean. We will be back to Comfort Inn and Suites.
