Could of been set up better... but still nice... We were only there for the night...

Trip Advisor let me down on this one so I'm going to try to make it right. It took three rooms before we finally got one that was close enough to call clean to stay in. This property is very run down and unkept. I am literally shocked that Marriott allows their name on this establishment, it is far below the standard of any other Marriott I have ever stayed in. After what we saw in the rooms I was not about to pay for their breakfast, there are plenty of other places that offer a cheaper and better alternative for breakfast. They have some serious humidity problems in the pool area and the exercise room was not clean either. But the Hot Tub water was at least hot, the chlorine burned your eyes a bit but it was a welcome burn all things considered. The staff was friendly and tried their best to be accomadating for what they had to work with. All I can say is, Marriott DO BETTER. If you look at the pics I included, look closely to see the holes in the curtains, the fact that the bed was barely made, and that chair was supposed to be a couch. I have no idea what type of bug that is on the bed and I wasn't touching it to inspect more closely. My bad for not taking pics of the bathroom, you'll have to take my word for it that you probably wouldn't feel cleaner after showering in there.

This hotel is very outdated. No microwave, the mattress is worn out, no coffee pot not that I would use it. Trash behind the dresser, the TV is small, pillows are flat, tub wasn't cleaned properly, the tv remote didn't work, beside lamp didn't work, and u have to request housekeeping in advance, everything in here is old and worn out. Needs renovations immediately. This is another Flint hotel that I will never stay in again.

Old, dated dingey Marriott. The bed and pillows were fine, but the furniture in the suite was dated and stained. Sheer curtains were actually rotted and falling apart. Got there late and didn't realize we'd have to share the ONE coffee cup the next morning. No clocks or alarms in room. Bathroom sink had one tiny bar or soap - no lotions etc. Ice machines broken. Parking lot full of huge potholes that were barely filled in with loose grave. Can't believe Marriott hasn't yanked this.

Was given a key to a trashed room with the tv left on, went back downstairs for a new room. New room has broken curtains(piece laying on the ground), broken mini fridge, 90% of the tv channels are fuzzy, bathroom tile looks very old, stained and gross. AC unit has to be broken as well, will not change settings and the room was constantly humid and warm. Smoke detector hanging off the wall and the sink drain is clogged. The entire room is filled with stains that look as old as me. No hair dryer in the bathroom which is no big deal however, the cheapest motels give you one. Lady at the front is either over worked or hates her job and her guests. The lobby looks nice and that’s it, what a nice facade. I’ve stayed at motels that were 5 times nicer than this place(not exaggerating). I wouldn’t stay here again for free. The pictures they’ve posted online are either from 25yrs ago or they’ve been photoshopped. Hotel needs millions in renovations and new staff. Avoid at all costs, this is not a Marriott this is a 1star motel. Waste of Marriott points.

I was struck when I arrived at the hotel by the potholes all throughout the parking lot. It looked more like a low rent motel. When I got to my room I saw the very old and tiny fridge. The fridge was important to me because I travel with my own food because I have unique dietary needs. I paid extra for a room with a fridge. The carpets were sticky in several places, and the shower did not drain. In the morning my food was spoiled because the fridge was not working. I spoke with the front desk and they gave me some run around and then said they would get back to me. At the end of the day when I returned from my business there had been no maid service in my room, and there was a terrible smell from the spoiled food in the fridge. I also had to arrange on my own for food to be delivered from 50 miles away so that I wouldn't starve. I asked the front desk, and they said that someone would get back to me in the morning, in the meantime they offered me some tiny flimsy bags, and pointed me to an already full garbage bin in the hotel lobby. In the morning they told me that they would be in contact by email (which still has not happened).
