This place is really special! The pictures do not do it justice. Very spacious, scrupulously clean and well appointed. Plenty of cookware for any chef. Greg was gracious, friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was on the small size, but not cramped. Lots to do nearby, including swimming & kayaking within walking distance, and everything Acadia area has to offer within a 30 minute drive. Meals on the deck overlooking the pond often included grazing deer, great blue herons and other wildlife.

We had a delightful stay Tall Pines. The apartment is lovely and exactly as shown in the photos. Additionally the fabulous art on the walls and decorative objects add to the experience. All of this is further enhanced by the lovely private outdoor setting. A truly wonderful place to stay!

Our stay at Tall Pines was amazing. The property is clean, super comfortable and very convenient to all parts of Mount Desert Island. The owner, Greg, left us a warm welcome greeting with an offer to help orient us to the island as needed. We were sad to leave this peaceful and relaxing property at the end of our stay. This was our best VRBO experience ever!

The location and property was very tranquil. We had just as much fun reading on the deck, looking out at the meadow as driving around the island. Greg was very helpful and accessible!

This is such a secluded private place to stay. It was an utter joy to stay here. Greg, the owner was gracious and unintrusive. He also had some great recommendations for hikes in the park and restaurants to check out. I recommend this place most highly. You'll love it!

This was the perfect place for a Maine adventure, either as a couple or with kids. The bed and pillows were great, the view incomparable and overall a wonderful place to relax after hiking, biking and kayaking. Highly recommend, and we hope to return soon!

Lovely pondside cottage This cottage has a spectacular view of a small pond surrounded by marshes and then forest. Solid kitchen but not really well provisioned. Bed comfy. Bathroom extremely cramped but functional.

Great home base for Acadia This place was a perfect home base for our trip to Maine! Acadia was so close, we were able to enjoy the park, come back for a rest, and then venture back. The property was beautiful: we spent a lot of time on the deck observing wildlife in the mornings and evenings. The Milky Way was fully visible in the night sky. The home had everything we needed, it was well furnished, clean, and comfortably appointed. Thank you Greg!
