Bear Creek Lodge by Alpine Lodging Telluride

We have stayed Bear Creek Lodge numerous times over the last 10 years, Abe 3 times during 2023. We prefer this location rather than being below in the actual town of Telluride for many reasons but most of all for the serenity and the excellent views of the mountains. No parking issues, well equipped kitchen and gracious staff including a free van for guests to use if they prefer not to drive.

So glad my boyfriend and I stayed here! The supervisor, Ignacio, was very helpful with helping us figure out what to do. The room was perfect for us. One of the most affordable places in the Telluride/Mountain Village area. The hotel provided a shuttle so we were able to explore mountain village easily. The drivers are prompt. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in 308B. There was a shower, jetted tub, nice comfy king bed, mini fridge, microwave, a little work station in the room. Would recommend

Clean rooms very friendly and helpful staff. General manager Tyler Newman and his staff went above and beyond to assist us. They even cleaned the snow from our car knowing we will be traveling that morning. We are very grateful.

When we arrived no one was at the front desk. After waiting a while someone showed who knew little English and checked us in. When we arrived to our room, we noticed that there was a hallway with a closet that connects to another room. The design allows noise intrusions from the people next to you. You can literally hear their conversations. Privacy concerns right there. Then around midnight, a group started to party at the ping-pong table. It was so loud no one was able to sleep and no one stopped them because there is no staff at night. We decided this place was so disappointing, we checked out early. I emailed the general manager Tyler Newman about the situation and he never even replied back to me.
