GGuest UserThis hotel, located in the Lake Toya Onsen resort area, is a bit further out than other ryokans, but that's actually one of its biggest selling points. The hotel environment is incredibly comfortable. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the lobby's design. The staff were all very warm and friendly. The room was really spacious and even came with a private onsen. The hotel offers fantastic views of Lake Toya, and the Japanese-style breakfast was delicious. It's only a 6-minute drive to go see the fireworks. I would definitely want to come back here to relax and unwind again.

GGuest UserWonderful ski in/ski out location. Lovely family accommodation with everything you need. Close to convenience store and restaurants. Sunday was extremely helpful and transported us to the local train station at the end of our stay. Gustav was very helpful via email but the resort was uncontactable on arrival to arrange hotel transfer from the bus drop-off (reception phone switched to after hours message). Also could not get a taxi (none available on the app) so had to walk up the hill dragging luggage. That was our only complaint.

BButter 1My stay at Hilton Niseko Village in Hokkaido was very convenient and enjoyable, especially for skiing. The hotel has excellent ski-in/ski-out access, with the gondola just a short walk from the ski valet. This made it very easy to start and finish a full day on the slopes without any hassle. The surrounding snow scenery was also beautiful. After skiing, I really enjoyed relaxing in the onsen, which was one of the highlights of the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food. Although the rooms are a bit dated, the overall experience was comfortable and the location is perfect for a ski holiday in Niseko.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the Hirafu ski resort, and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. The bedroom is a bit small, but considering the price/performance ratio is quite high. The room can see the sheep's foot mountain and the scenery is very beautiful.

BBbbcccVery good hotel Whether it isservice, hardware, or accessories, they are all first-class The front desk will provide a WhatsApp phone number when you check in. Convenient for all arrangements during guests' stay, including arranging car pick-up, changing towels, making appointments for cleaning, etc. We booked a three-bedroom room with three toilets, so the family members don’t have to queue up in the morning. The room faces Mount Yotei, which is great for taking photos. The breakfast is average, nothing too surprising. It is included in the room rate, so there is not much to ask for. . If you have high requirements for breakfast, you can buy the ingredients and cook it yourself at the hotel. The only thing that is relatively inferior is the kitchen equipment. There is no hot pot equipment, but the microwave and steam oven are Miele, which are very easy to use and convenient. It can be seen that the hotel's management team is willing to spend money on hardware. The most commendable thing is the service. Since the hotel is relatively far from the ski resort, it is very convenient to call a taxi to and from the ski resort every time. You only need to notify us 5 to 10 minutes in advance. This is a hotel I will definitely stay at next time I come to Niseko. Thanks intuition team again🥰

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is great, within walking distance to both Hirafu ski resort and the Sansuitei restaurant! However, the hotel's hygiene management is poor. Over two days, they only changed the towels during cleaning; the floors and tables weren't cleaned at all! They just folded the comforter! I really should have planned ahead and booked a homestay. This trip was quite rushed, so I guess I'm lucky I even got a room and didn't have to sleep on the street 😂! All I can say is... everyone, plan ahead, as this place isn't cheap! The front desk offers services in Chinese, English, Thai, and Japanese.

GGuest UserRight at the centre of Hirafu - you have to walk a bit upslope to the ski lifts. Check in is at another building / hotel so beware if you're not driving. The space is well equipped with a full kitchen and washing machine, as well as heaters. There is also a ski locker on the ground floorwhere you can pit your ski equipment. However we noticed a smell of fresh renovating works once we entered the room - though we're not sure where that came from. If you're driving, beware they only have 2 parking spaces in front of the building which are not designated for guests. So if someone else parked that space, you have to find somewhere where you're not considered a hassle. Note you are not supposed to park behind the building nor the space next to the 2 parking spaces.

HHAKONAThis hotel offers incredible value for money! It's right on Lake Toya, and the bus stop is literally a few steps from the entrance, with direct service to the JR station. The absolute highlight, though, was the breakfast and dinner – both were delicious and perfectly suited to Chinese tastes. Highly recommend!

AAsiaFamTravelsNot directly ski in ski out - still need to walk 100m to get a gondola to the chairlifts. Service better than last year - a new casual restaurant that does pizza dine in/to go. Changes to the Japanese breakfast so it’s no longer a set but a buffet which offers better flexibility for kids. Check in took about 30 mins standing in line but the room was thankfully ready by 12 noon before the stated 3pm check in time.

EExpat EDventuresReview: 5-Night Stay at One Niseko Hotel, Japan We recently stayed five nights at One Niseko and overall enjoyed our stay, but there are some important things future guests — especially skiers — should know. The rooms were spacious, generally clean, and had very comfortable beds and linens. A few small maintenance issues could use attention, but nothing that seriously affected our stay. Breakfast was decent but fairly repetitive, with mostly the same offerings each day aside from a few rotating dishes. Transportation logistics are probably the biggest consideration. The hotel only offers one daily pickup from the Grand Hirafu bus terminal, and it requires advance reservation. The hotel shuttle itself runs only to Annupuri and Moiwa and does so infrequently, often not aligning well with lift closing times. If the upper mountain lifts close early 3:30pm if they open at all  and may unexpectedly close due to wind or snow.Yyou can easily end up far from the hotel in this situation. Without the shuttle, taxis are limited and cost around $30 USD, or you may face a crowded 1.5-hour bus ride — skis included. The hotel is also quite far from Grand Hirafu, and there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance. We even walked back from Moiwa one day in the rain because the shuttle wouldn’t return for another hour — not ideal after skiing. On the positive side, ski rental prices at the hotel were actually better than many shops in the surrounding area. The hotel restaurant is flexible too — if it’s not full, you can usually walk in without a reservation. The onsen itself is nice, but etiquette enforcement could improve. Some guests were not following standard onsen rules and wearing underwear in the baths, which created an awkward atmosphere (I felt like an exhibitionist!). Management may want to either enforce rules more clearly or consider alternative policies to maintain guest comfort (allow swimsuits). Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but unless you have a rental car, I would strongly recommend considering accommodation in Niseko Village or closer to the lifts for convenience. One Niseko is comfortable but somewhat isolated, and transportation can become challenging quickly depending on weather and lift operations.
