We stayed in room 227 in August. We had specks/spots on the bed and pillow the first night which was concerning so we changed the bedding and pillows. The mattress underneath was immaculate so I was concerned they had recently changed it for some reason. During our stay I developed over 30 clustered bites from my knees to my ankles which my doctor said was likely bed bugs or mites from the hotel due to being clustered to one area, my knees and ankles were the worst and in straight lines. I immediately called the hotel and they never called me back and denied a refund. They said Mt Shasta doesn’t have bed bugs. There are reports that they do indeed have lots of them. The carpets were old, dirty and smelly. The hot tub was broken with no notification even at check in and this is why we booked this hotel. Only one unit has elevators. Beware! Stay here at your own risk. It was a lot of stress to clean, wash and vacuum everything at home and I’m still stressing about it.

Appreciated the upgrade, but it was not Handicap Accessible. The running of the food service is a DIASTER. They won’t pick up calls from the room (too busy) and left out 1/2 of a pick-up order. When challenged it falls on deaf ears. F@#k them!!

Loved our stay! We stayed one night at the local inn and moved to the BW+ the next day because it was so much more impressive! The room was clean and since we were on the second floor, the vaulted ceilings were just what we needed after a long drive in a packed vehicle. Cristina at the front desk was the best! Her friendliness and ease in getting us our reservation while telling us all of the details about the place was exceptional! She went above and beyond to help us feel welcome and taken care of. Angela and Melinda at the bar were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed. Jacob served our family dinner at the restaurant one night and was very attentive and courteous. The food was also incredible. Everyone was wonderful. The location was perfect also- as soon as you enter the town and close to a supermarket and Starbucks. We didn’t have the breakfast there but it smelled amazing each morning. The view of Mt. Shasta from our room was also fantastic. Staying here was the perfect way to finish our Mount Shasta summer vacation. Thank you! We will be back!!

Le best western est situé près de l'autoroute qui ne s'entend pas de l'hotel. Ce sont les trains qu'on entend klaxonner de très bonne heure. L'hotel est un hotel de montagne un peu vieillot. L'insonorisation n'est pas bonne d'une chambre à l'autre. La chambre est grande et a un balcon. La vue est belle sur le mont shasta mais elle donne aussi sur les autres toits de l'hotel. Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner gratuit mais un restaurant au rez de chaussée. Un petit magasin proche de l'hotel permet de se ravitailler pour le petit dejeuner. Le réceptionniste pourrait être plus avenant avec les clients.
