If you visit over the winter, there is a ski hill called Terry Peak that has all the terrain from greens to double blacks. Fifteen minutes East is Rapid City which will be the easiest to do all of your grocery shopping, or shopping otherwise. There are even more restaurants there and if you are interested in any nightlife, this is the place you will want to be. There are tons of breweries and some of the best restaurants are Tandoor Bocado, Delmonico Grill, Tally's Silver Spoon, and the Independent Ale House for something more casual.Just up the road toward Rapid City is Johnson Siding gas station. No Bad Days Campground just west down the road has a tap wagon featuring 24 local beers, local wines, firewood and ice for sale. Less than five minutes away is Pactola Lake where the views are endless and the water is crystal clear.
