Motel 6 Mount Jackson, VA - Shenandoah

Motel 6 was very clean and convenient with easy access. Budget friendly. I was greeted warmly by Addiemae at front desk making check in a breeze. Refrigerator and microwave were a nice bonus. I did not have a pet with me, but good to know they are welcome.

Worse pillows ever-3 in plastic and the only one not in plastic was very uncomfortable. The personnel were nice and friendly. If you like cheap, budget hotels, then this is for you. It was clean, but had an odd smell. Not musty or mildewed, just odd. There is not really much here at this exit-a couple of fast food restaurants. But I was directed to a good Italian sit down restaurant. I only stayed here because I was nearly out of funds. I'll manage my money better next time.

It's a budget motel, so it's not going to be perfect, but this was one of the cleanest motel 6's I've stayed in. It could have used a few repairs (the bathroom door didn't line up with the jam so you had to hold it shut and it wasn't lockable, the toilet struggled with flushing). For some incomprehensible reason the Motel 6 website itself has the address wrong (it is correct here at 250 Conicville Blvd, however 250 Conicville Rd as listed on the website is about 7 miles away). The only thing that kept me from going to the wrong place was the fact that I knew it was right off the highway. But, it was clean, so for the price I can't really complain.

We have friends in the area and needed a place to stay. The room was a surprise and very clean. Walls are pretty thin ( we could hear the people above us and beside us)...but this is pretty normal. We liked that we could bring our dog. Fron5 desk was pleasant and helped us to get a room location that worked best for us. Overall we were happy with everything.

Horrible place management was awful to a family for no reason after cops where called on a false report they kicked us out after paying for a week's stay... cops were on our side and they still did it..

Easy check in. Miss Denny's! Clean rooms and reasonable rates. Bed is firm but feels nice after a long ride. Right off 81, which is perfect. Near plenty of restaurants & Walmart. Will be back next year.
