The lighting in the whole building is very subtle. Nice and relaxing music and atmosphere. Only one hand and bath towel in the bathroom and, although there were more in the bottom of the bed, we were unaware of where to find these until we checked out. I was in the shower before I realised there wasn’t a second towel and it was too late to phone reception. Booking had 2 names for the room so we would have expected adequate towels in the bathroom or visible in the room rather than under the bed.

The rooms were well-maintained, providing a good night's rest in a peaceful setting. One of the perks I noticed was a discount offered in the restaurant for hotel residents, though it's important to mention that this is only available if you book directly through the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. During my dining experiences at the hotel restaurant, I felt that the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. While the service was efficient, a warmer interaction would have greatly enhanced the overall experience. Nonetheless, the food quality was satisfactory. Overall, the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge offers a decent stay, especially if you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills accommodation with the convenience of an on-site restaurant. It's a suitable choice for travelers seeking basic comfort and cleanliness.
