Siamo arrivati qui grazie al consiglio della preziosa guida Routard per cui posti come questo sono etichettati 'coup de coeur'. Ottimo suggerimento. L'hotel è piccolo ma di grande e sobrio fascino. Una vera casa ottomana arredata con i mobili originali. Tutto è ben manutenuto e funzionale. Veniamo accolti da una sorridente signora che ci offre 2 birre. La colazione, servita in una sala sottostante è ricca e di qualità. È compresa nel costo della camera una visita guidata e gratuita alla parte adibita a museo. Indimenticabile.

This beautifully preserved home of an old Muslim landowning family also functions as a museum. The rooms are very atmospheric rather than comfortable, being small and perhaps a little too traditional, but they were fun to experience for a couple of nights. The huge pluses of our stay were the delightful courtyard gardens, still tended by the current head of the Muslibegovic family, who waters the roses every evening. We found the pleasantly informal hospitality offered by hotel manager Gabi put us at ease and the cool walled gardens provided a serene refuge after sightseeing in the heat.

The hotel is a museum as well, and you can tour the home/hotel even if you are not a guest. We were welcomed by a delightful lady, and all staff members were similarly enthusiastic and kind. It is located in a quiet more residential area of town, about a 10-12 minute walk to the famous Mostar bridge. Breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of options. There is a nice private courtyard with a covered arbor if you want to sit outdoors and relax. This merits strong consideration for your stay in Mostar.

A Sweet Hotel
Once we found this "hidden" hotel, we were greeted by a beautiful garden and three wonderful innkeepers. You could not find three nicer people! Rooms are small and bathrooms are smaller and hotwater heater tiny, but the point of our stay was to stay someplace unique. It was completely worth the stay.

It was a great experience to stay at this hotel and very close walking distance to the old bridge. It was very difficult to find at night by car. If you are from Iowa like us, we recommend arriving before sunset. The fenced, secure parking is nearby. It has a beautiful courtyard to enjoy coffee and terrace to enjoy breakfast.
