The Oaks Ranch

Location, location location and what a find. The food was sensational, the staff were absolutely over the top with their customer service and knowledge of all aspects of both the drinks and food menus. A great experience and a 35 wedding anniversary lunch we will not forget. Thanks again to Josh and his wonderful team on the floor working their magic and do Drew and staff in the kitchen cooking up a blast for our anniversary. Many thanks to all, we shall be back. We had a fantastic lunch. We decided to have five tapas, which was enough for the two of us. The standout was the prawn toast, but the croquettes and the oven baked haloumi were not far behind. The service was also excellent. We will return for sure.

We attended the oaks ranch for dinner on a Friday night an early sitting. The food and service were fantastic. The staff were very polite and warm. Definitely recommend this place any time. We could not fault anything. It was lovely spending time watching all the kangaroos about the place. Our 4 year old twins thought it was fantastic. Thank you for a great evening.

My sister and I stayed one night and we will definitely return . We had a superb three corse meal in the restaurant , with an excellent wine list to select from . The rooms are contemporary with elegant decor The beds are very comfortable with lovely linens and pillows . Walk in shower and heated bathroom floor we stayed for breakfast and barista made coffee . We will definitely stay for longer next time Helen

Location, design, landscape and furnishings are incredible! BUT the whole group was disappointed with the uptight service and rules. Slow on drink orders Starting bottle of sparkling was $67 for an average Prosecco Bill was strictly a 4 way even split for a table of 7. Food was nothing incredible Waitress took away unfinished food and drink When we asked the staff about a near full drink disappearing they said they didn’t see anything come in. In a customer focused establishment they would’ve been apologetic and offered a replacement. I also saw the bar staff eye roll behind a customers back. On the surface the ranch is glossy and incredibly photogenic. However, it lacks the 4-5 star hospitality and comes of as a greedy business model which does not at all suit the environment it sits in.

Experience from making the booking, greeting on arrival to checkout was exceptional. It is all the little things that made our stay fantastic. All the staff could not do enough to assist. Bed superb. Food fantastic. We loved The Oaks Ranch - will definitely be back.

We booked online. Knowing they are licensed, we still put in a request to bring a special bottle for our anniversary. No response that we couldn't. Happy if notified! Ambience lovely at the fire place to start our night with a glass of Rose and Chardonnay. Upon arrival, no champagne by the glass available, No pinot noir available, "supplier has not restocked". I only drink pinot noir. Surely, with all the lovely NSW wineries available, couldn't they just have 1 or 2 wines of pinot noir available? We had our own special bottle but weren't allowed to open it. We ordered King fish cudo and Haloumi as entrees. King fish not cured enough, haloumi was a thick slice, not marinated, slather of honey and herbs, was ok...Duck confit was lovely as was the beef rib. Condiments - ala french fries (WAY too much paprika, PLEASE, just keep it simple, no salt, no paprika...it over-rid the lovely confit duck and beef. Cauliflower gratin okay but, nothing to sing about. Staff were ok. We were asked after our main meals if we wish to order dessert, we said "yes". However, 1 menu was literally thrown at us at the table as though we had been difficult. Very disappointed. We didn't order and left. Being our 2nd visit here, and, we like to encourage local restaurants by supporting them, not sure if we will attend again.

This is our second time there. It is tucked away just of the Estate and the highway. Although prices are on the high side the quality of the food was exceptional. Staff are very slick and provide excellent service. Great cocktails. A quality establishment.

Sunday lunch was simply marvellous with great surrounds , friendly and attentive staff and superb food . Staff were very obliging and an onion allergy was catered for with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Highly recommend as the views and surrounding golf course layout is superb . Plenty of parking nearby . All in all a most enjoyable Sunday outing .
