Gondwana was the perfect safari getaway! While it’s not the Serengeti, it truly stands out as one of the best safari experiences I’ve ever had. On our first day, we had the entire game drive to ourselves with our fantastic guide, Björn, who made the experience unforgettable. We saw nearly every animal we’d hoped for during our first drive and loved having the extra time to linger and enjoy each sighting during the following drives. Our cottage was absolutely perfect—secluded enough to feel completely private and peaceful, yet conveniently close to the main lodge and restaurant. Getting there was effortless, and everything was easy to find. Without the expectations of a national park, Gondwana offered the most relaxed, intimate, and memorable safari experience just a few hours from Cape Town. We couldn’t have asked for a better adventure!

The staff makes you feel like family. The views make you appreciate this insanely beautiful planet more. No such thing as a bad view or photo here. The villas are so well designed, clean and cozy you’ll never want to leave. The chef and dining team will spoil you so much you’ll want to bring them home with you. And the animals, oh the animals, Gondwana is so mindful and protective of these glorious creatures you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for all of nature. The guides are a wealth of knowledge and rarely get stumped by a question. We’ve been going for 3 years now and it’s still one of the most memorable and meaningful trips of our lives. Best of all, conservation isn’t just a phrase, it’s a way of life at Gondwana where they truly protect and support the flora and fauna to thrive.

Abslotuley beautiful Game Reserve, close to Cape Town about 4 hours drive, Excellent service Chandre, Serisa and Clerissia handled my booking with ease, food was amazing.

Unforgettable memories of this 2 days stay. Our lodge was luxury, the food was great, it was quiet and clean. we had a great guide (Tim) and we saw all possible animals except the leopard. In total we had an excellent service.

Staff service was on point from check-in, food, safari, and housekeeping. We had a late check-in and came straight from the airport so the kitchen was closed. However, the staff accommodated us with assorted bread, cheese, and juice. Bjorn who ran our safari was funny and relentless in finding us a lion pack to take those 3 meter pics and vids. Restaurant staff was friendly and kept checking on us. Room was amazing and no bugs but the small flying ones (no mosquitos). Only challenge was the water drainage in the shower. It would flood the bathroom floor. Besides guest diversity, I would recommend to anyone
