We stayed here for 2 nights. We were making the booking at the last minute, but were made to jump through hoops by the owner or manager (not sure which). We were calling from Melbourne and have been there before, but were made to provide images of a driver's licence when quoting a credit card number. Why? We weren't coming from overseas and fellow was very cagey about why this was required. Also, there is a 'service fee' of $150 for a 2 night stay - this is pretty ridiculous and bumps the price up to a level not appropriate for this property. I wish we had stayed in a hotel instead as the place is run down and expects you to put on the dishwasher, take out the rubbish, etc., so why are we paying $75 per night when we have to clean ourselves and there is a note that says if you don't put on the dishwasher before leaving you will be charged additional fees!?!?! We were given an incorrect code for the lock box upon checking in so had to call this man again and get a different number! The room is in need of an update. There are spiders living in the windows in the bedroom, the bed is a wooden bed with sharp corners and is placed in a small bedroom so we damaged our legs on these corners many times as the ensuite is in a wardrobe - yes, check the photos online - so you have to squeeze past these sharp corners to get to the ensuite. I would not recommend staying here, especially in Room 4, until the place has a make-over as it seems these people have purchased the business from previous owners and have done nothing in terms of maintenance. Our outside light was not working so you have to walk up stairs in the dark and try to unlock the door, in the dark! Perhaps they could use the $150 we had to pay to actually clean and maintain the place properly.

The location is great and the apartments are a nice size. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso machine which was great. I liked the area outside surrounded by trees where you can drink your coffee. The bed was so uncomfortable that it gave me a bad back and the bathroom was small and damp. The walls were paper thin so you can hear the conversations of your neighbors.

Great accommodation with everything we needed to be warm, comfortable and keep our food budget down! Lovely space surrounded by trees, quiet no noise from neighbouring apartments, except for bin morning on Thursday (I d forgotten about this :-) )! Fabulous location for easy access to the zoo, 10 min walk up to Military Road and convenience of stores just around the corner.

This is a serviced apartment in a small block situated in a quiet side street adjacent to a ***** of quality convenience shops and cafes. It is a short walk to Mossman high street and a 25 minute walk to the lovely Balmoral beach. Mossman Bay ferry wharf is approximately 10-12 minutes walk away with regular boats to Circular Quay. There is some off-street parking and you can park in the roads nearby but make sure that ll are conversant with the local parking regulations which can be confusing at first. The family that owns this property are very friendly, efficient and helpful. The apartment itself is quite spacious for two people, well equipped and cleaned regularly. We stayed for over 3 weeks whilst visiting family and found it ideal for our needs. In fact there are very few places in the Mossman that offer the same facilities at a comparable price. A car is not essential depending on the reason for your stay There is no lift and quite a few steps if you are on the upper floors so check first if you have any mobility problems.

I had the good fortune of stumbling across this little gem in the heart of Mosman and stayed 2 times this year already. For sure will be returning as a regular. Ideal location - 5 minutes easy walk to Mosman junction, beautiful walk down to Mosman ferry, and a healthy 25 minute walk (down hill walk and take the bus back up) to the iconic Balmoral Beach. Charmingly appointed one bedroom apartments and studio apartments to choose from . Cant go wrong - book early for your stay .

Staying at Ballantyne at Mosman was a great experience all round. So easy to book with lovely, friendly, helpful managers in these clean, newly updated, modern apartments in most central location. So convenient to have onsite parking as well as an easy walk to ferry and buses to the city and beaches - best coffee shop across the road! Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends.
