La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Moscow Pullman

I have never been treated as badly as I was at LaQuinta in Moscow Idaho. The 1st day when I checked in and went to my room there were already people in it. Someone on the prior shirt had forgot to put on the computer that it was a stay over. No biggie. The clerk, who was new was a real sweetheart about it and with a little help from her boss got me another room. It was a double but she let me have it for the same price. That turned out great because my sister showed up the 2rd day I was there to share my room. I let them know she was staying in my room before she got there and everything was fine. I extended our stay by one night and with the bosses help we made a seperate reservation for the extra day at a little higher cost which was fine. They couldn't extend the ******* price but gave me a miember discount for the same double room. Great. Took them a couple tries but I don't mind. My sister and I are Set for night 3. Then, the desk calls the next day at noon. We haven't checked out. We tell them we have another day and about extending our stay the day before. He finds it but tells us we have to move to another room. He says all he has is a suite and we have 20 minutes to pack up and get out of our room and he will move us to the suite. (I'm not thrilled, why not put the other people in the suite?) Then I ask him about cost since he didn't bring it up, and it's an extra $100 for the night. I told him no, that isn't right. I didn't make the mistake, they did and I wasn't giving them an extra $100. They argued for a while then he said he'd ask his boss. She offered a 10% discount. Still unacceptable. Plus the suite is one bed and a pull out couch. My brother had been there listening to what was going on and headed for the desk. I told the clerk he was on his way and hung up. After much arguing and a few promises from my brother they finally gave us the suite at the same cost. But we still had to move to a much lousier location and I spent the night on the couch. I seldom complain. For being 70 and disabled I am pretty easy going. But I was there with my 82 year older sister for my brothers funeral and I didn't need this crap. Never again will I stay there, which is a shame since it is a lovely place and a good location.

Best A/C and that was important because there was a heat wave - the temps in Moscow were 104-105 hot! I was here in Moscow and stayed at La Quinta for a 3 day class and U of I. The pool was amazing! SO refreshing. The jacuzzi was just warm I would have liked it to be hot! Free cooked buffet breakfast was GREAT! Staff at front desk were outstanding! They told us places I can visit and where specific restaurants and stores were located - even Starbucks and Shari's Pie Restaurant very close by! University was only 2 minutes drive away! Loved it here!

Front desk & Kitchen staff were great. Rooms were not the best, my key wouldn't work so they switched rooms, 1st room toilet seat was crooked, bathroom mat was stained, and there was a stain on the green chair in the room. 2nd room same thing with bath mat, shower would make a high pitched squeal when turned on, bathroom sink would drain slow, the light fixture by the door was falling off the ceiling, there was writing on my bathroom mirror that would show up every time I took a shower left from the last guest. Room service entered my room every day despite there being a do not disturb sign on the door. One of the times they entered they just threw the comforter on the bed, took my bathroom trash, did not reline it and left it sitting on my toilet, took all my towels without replacing them. Voices echo and I could hear people talking outside the room all night

Wish they had blinds that were see through other than that great property

A great night stay I was so impressed with the cleanliness. It was a good night away from home.
