We returned 10 months after our first trip. What a great location, clean, modern, friendly hotel overlooking a fabulous beach. It's nice and quiet and a short walk to bars & restaurants. There's lots of steps so wouldn't recommend for those with mobility problems. The staff are excellent, the food is delicious and we will return again for some winter sun.

Great location but beach access not as easy as it could be, the room was nicely furnished and modern, we upgraded to a sea view at a considerable extra cost but ended up with an intermittently noisy air conditioning unit above us ( room 1305) , not always a problem though . The food was good and lots to choose from although it wasn't always hot, great staff in the restaurant, Alex a really nice guy, Ben and Gustavo too, one gripe with the restaurant is long trousers only rule, many wearing tracksuit bottoms to comply, smart shorts look far better in my opinion, and where's the equality ? The pool area was very quiet and spacious, maybe some background music would improve the atmosphere. The evening entertainment was varied and overall very good, however Robert and Juliet were on almost every other day and while the other artists addressed the audience in German, English and Spanish, Robert only spoke German, somewhat excluding us Brits. I would recommend the hotel, as well as the neighbouring Calypso. The resort is lovely.

Prachtig eiland, heel het jaar door mooi weer ! Hotel was dik in orde!, vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt en avond eten was op duimen en vingers af te lekker, met heel veel keuzen uit verschillende gerechten..

Holiday get away from UK winter! We booked a lazy beach holiday and that’s exactly what we got. Thanks to all the hard working staff at the Riu hotel. The hotel was exactly as described. Sea view rooms fantastic, spacious and clean. Staff work immensely hard cleaning, waiting and catering for guests. Yes there are a few steps to get to the beach, which wouldn’t suit less able or older less mobile people. But for most it’s an easy stroll! We did half board and there was plenty of food choice and it was all to a good standard. A little entertainment on at night, different singers etc or there are a few restaurants and bars in either direction of hotel.

We have been using the Riu Palace for many years now and we have high expectations based on our visits. It has never failed to deliver and excellent experience. The hotel is impressive and offers excellent food, drink and entertainment. We see people we know every visit, so the return rate is very high. As always thankyou to Jesus, Fran and his team, Manolo & Kiku, Angel, Aldo, Danny, Antonio and the team, the restaurant with David and Marisol, Vicky, Alex and their team. Apologies if I missed anyone but I could name dozens of staff who treat us like family. Fabulous experience and we will be back in March

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, im Hotel drittes mal zu übernachten, und ich kann nur Gutes darüber berichten! Das Personal war super freundlich und hat dafür gesorgt, dass ich mich sofort wie zu Hause fühlte. Egal, ob an der Rezeption oder im Restaurant – überall wurde ich herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer hatte eine unglaubliche Aussicht mit Meerblick! Jeden Morgen konnte ich aufwachen, die Wellen rauschend hören und einfach die herrliche Landschaft genießen. Einfach traumhaft! Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls top. Man hat alles, was man braucht, direkt in der Nähe – sei es Strand, Shops oder Restaurants. Apropos Essen: Das kulinarische Angebot war echt fein! Die Gerichte waren nicht nur lecker, sondern auch schön präsentiert. Ein großes Dankeschön an das wunderbare Team am Empfang, das immer bereit war, mir zu helfen und alle meine Fragen zu beantworten. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, sich einen Aufenthalt im Hotel zu gönnen. Es wird bestimmt ein unvergesslicher Urlaub!

Lovely and friendly staff. The food was alright, there were a variety of choices. The entertainment in the evening could be improved, but we enjoyed the jazz night. It can be very windy in the evening, when we were there, the salon was under refurbishment so the only place to have a drink was the bar outside. It would be nice to have some heaters outside to combat the windy chill. The rooms were lovely and clean. Beware, there are lots of stairs! So you’ll be nice and fit after this holiday. The beach is right by the hotel so you could have a swim and then go to your room for a shower. There was a cute black kitty on sublevel 3 and I already miss her. I would definitely come back!

Sehr gutes Hotel in hervorragender (Strand-)Lage. Sehr freundlicher und humorvoller Check-in (Luc!). Sehr guter Service im Restaurant. Sowohl Frühstücks- als auch Abendbuffet waren sehr gut und auch sehr variantenreich. Das Essen im Hotel-Restaurant "Krystal" mit Fusion Cuisine ist sensationell! Nervig war ein bisschen, dass die Deutschen wieder ihrem schlechten Ruf gerecht wurden und trotz "Verbot" morgens schon ihre Lieblingsliegen mit Handtüchern "reserviert" haben, aber das Liegenangebot am Pool war zumindest ausreichend, dass es kein echtes Problem war. Einziger Malus ist das allabendliche (sieben Tage die Woche...) musikalische Entertainment-Programm im Poolbereich von ca. 20 bis 22:30 Uhr, so dass man abends nicht mal in Ruhe auf seinem Balkon sitzen konnte ohne beschallt zu werden. Und da das gleiche Duo (mindestens) viermal die Woche mit der gleichen grenzdebilen Pop- und Schlagermusik der letzten 40 Jahre auftrat, war es irgendwann extrem nervig...

Per fortuna aveva la camera al piano -4 quasi sulla spiaggia ma... per arrivare alla reception o alla colazione c'erano 50 scalini e lunghi corridoi da percorre !!! per gente anziana o con problemi è veramente troppo ! PECCATO
