Stijlvol onderkomen middenin Corsica
We hebben heerlijk verbleven in hotel Ascosa Aventure. Het is zowel van binnen als van buiten stijlvol vormgegeven. De bedden zijn erg comfortabel, evenals de heerlijke douche. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte met koelkast en magnetron is een prettig extraatje. We kregen duidelijke instructies voor de self check-in, dat verliep soepel.
Ook het zwembad was heerlijk, met leuk zicht op de omliggende bergen.
Er was ruim voldoende parkeerplaats en zelfs een oplaadpunt voor onze elektrische huurauto.
Ponte Leccia is heel praktisch gelegen aan de T30, waardoor de vele hoogtepunten in de natuur makkelijk te bereiken zijn; Corte, Asco en ga zo maar door.
Wij waren al bij het boeken op de hoogte van het ontbreken van wifi en airconditioning, toch misten wij dit wel een beetje.
Verder hebben we twee tips, mede gezien de beoogde duurzaamheid:
- door haakjes op de kamers aan te brengen krijgt de reiziger de keuze om handdoeken eventueel te hergebruiken;
- door ook wat borden, bekers en bestek in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte ter beschikking te stellen, wordt voorkomen dat reizigers wegwerpartikelen moeten aanschaffen bij het zelf voorzien in een maaltijd.

Before booking you must be aware that "Ascosa Aventure" is not a classic "hotel" apart from the very pleasant and natural setting and the strategic location since there is no competitor nearby - you will not see anyone apart from other customers, there is no visible staff - you have to manage for breakfast - you cannot cancel or modify your reservation even several weeks in advance ... it's a shame

Very friendly. Clean and spacious room. Good idea of the kitchen where you can heat up a dish or cook a salad. Well maintained swimming pool. Ideal location whether you are going to Calvi or the south and one of the cheapest gas stations in Corsica. Recommended for a nice stopover

A short 3-night stay with our 2 children in this original Ecologia concept with excellent value for money. It is not a hotel as you might expect these services but the place is very original, the rooms are tastefully decorated, a common living room with everything to organize your breakfasts, your lunches on the go or your unique dinners (fridge, microwave, a few cutlery ...). City center 5 minutes by car with many shops (Super U, restaurants, Bakery ...) Note no air conditioning for this place which aims to be ecological, but fans and the possibility of sleeping with the door open! We highly recommend this establishment masterfully run by Jean Christophe and his Girl's Dream Team.

We stayed in the family room. It was a very hot week. The rooms are very nice. A good starting point for hikes if you have a car. But ecolodge sounds ecological. They built an overnight accommodation with many defects that calls for air conditioning in hot weather. No shading of the glass entrance doors facing west (by a tree or something similar), no window for ventilation, no external shading. Instead, black curtains that convert the sun's rays directly into heat. If you want to cool down the heated room at night, you have to leave the entrance door open. People and animals then have free access. The bathroom has no ventilation whatsoever. The light in the bathroom is linked to the light in the bedroom, so everyone wakes up when someone goes to the toilet at night. If you lean on the headboard of the bed, the light in the room goes on and off. There was a single reading lamp and a single bedside table for 4 beds. In the kitchen you will find everything you need.
