There were not a lot of hotel options in Morganton, but this appeared to be ok. The bed was comfy, but the other furniture looked out dated. The ice machine seemed not to be so clean as there was black stuff in my ice, so I refused to use it. They had a water machine that would supply drinking water that needed a filter change. The phone was broken. The room also lacked outlets for me and my daughter to charge our electronics. The shower was super small, and water only heated up so much, but I was able to deal with it. Breakfast was ok, but expect a gourmet meal. The staff was nice. So kudos to them for making the best of what we were working with. Not sure if I would choose this option again to stay, but I guess it they will fix some things in the future to make it better.

For a Sleep Inn I expected better!
It is run down and the bathroom is so small you could use the toilet and shower at the same time. It’s like they just stuck a shower and toilet in a small closet, the curtains was in terrible shape.

Not horrible but not comfortable
A little smaller than I'm use to and the bed was so uncomfortable. I also didn't know about a 100 deposit to stay. High end hotels don't charge that much.
