Hampton Inn Morgan Hill

One of my pet peeves is not turning the room over. I don’t know if you need to ask, but you shouldn’t need to ask. Pretty standard Hampton Inn. The bed was comfortable. The fireplace was weak and the balcony views are kind of depressing. I’d try someplace else next time. Service was nice at least.

The Hotel location was perfect if you like to pick your own fruits or to go shopping in the Gilroy outlets , only about 40 mn drive to Monterey peninsula also. Hotel looked clean and fairly newer construction , staff very welcoming and friendly ready to help , room was spacious and clean , bed very comfortable , room comes with hot breakfast , served daily , price range was in the mid range of comparable hotels in that area. Minor issue with the bathroom sink but other than that everything was in good condition . We enjoyed our stay and will be back for another stay if visiting that area in central valley . Forgot to add that parking is free with lot of spaces available

This started as a typical Hampton. Welcoming reception staff. Room looks clean and spacious. You notice the sink plug doesn’t work. Fridge isn’t working. Rather than just seeing if a control just needs turning on, reception calls for the engineer who an hour later turns up with a replacement fridge. My issue with this hotel is the pool area. They have quite a few nesting birds. Their mess is over the chairs, tables, at the bottom of the pool even. Looks like the pool area is hosed down every few days but the reception staff accepted the table and chairs are not systematically cleaned. Can concur with that based on our observations.,I asked the receptionist for some paper towels to clean a table and he directed me to the toilet whereby he was happy for me to do what the hotel staff should have done. Personally I would not enter a pool with bird mess at the bottom and imo it’s a public health issue to have so much bird mess in the pool area. Receptionist promised to raise my suggestions re the pool area at a future team meeting. Hopefully management are on the case

I scheduled one night at the Hampton Inn Morgan Hill on a recent visit to Silicon Valley. I was so impressed with the care and attention of the desk clerk, James, that I decided to stay an additional night. This was a last minute trip and I didn't book the nights in advance as I usually do. I had stayed at the La Quinta inn in Morgan Hill the night before. While the La Quinta Inn was very nice, I thought that the Hampton Inn was more comfortable. The hotel is very clean and well put together. The room was large and comfortable. I stayed in a room with a king bed the first night and two double beds the second night. The best part of the stay was the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast crew were welcoming. You're greeted with a smile. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Fresh fruit each day with different fruit (bananas, apples, cantaloupe, berries, strawberries, etc.), waffles, oatmeal, cereal, and hot options like eggs, meat (sausage one day and bacon the next day) and potatoes one day. There is free parking. The hotel is close to the freeway. I didn't hear freeway noise in my room or noise from any of the other guests. The hotel is close to an area with restaurants and shopping. The pool and jacuzzi are not large but adequate. The towels by the pool area were very nice. I would definitely stay here again.
