Booked this hotel because we were taking the kids, and the pool was closed when we got there, they said they were waiting for the health inspector. My kids were so disappointed .was not something the site said when I booked, and wouldn’t have booked here if I had known the pool was closed. My kids we so sad:( and because I booked through trips.com, they could not cancel or reimburse me.

As with the recent reviews, AVOID. It was overpriced, the hot tub was not working, the pool shut down early, there was no ice in the ice machine, and the breakfast was extremely poor; no juice available only water; only protein being fruit flavoured yogurt.

Early check in fee
We checked in at 1:30, the room was cleaned and ready for us but we were still charged an early $20 check in fee…??
Why is this necessary? That seemed a rather unnecessary and petty charge, that was rather surprising and disappointing

The room was clean and quiet. I did not like the stains on the mattress and bed spread. I did not like the fact that the continental breakfast did not even have fruit or juice. Not even water, just coffee.

Awful. Have stayed in the past and it was good.
1. Hotel completely booked due to Corn and Apple Festival, but ALL staff outside visiting, having supper, etc. NO ONE inside working or answering the bell.
2. No cloths or hand towels in the room
3. Live Centipedes crawling on carpet in room!!!!
4. Pulled back covers in room and found things left behind from last person inside the bed!
5. Extremely run down.
6. Beds comfortable but grossed out by the rest of the hotel.
7. Toilets wouldn’t flush properly
8. Continental breakfast - cereals mixed with other cereal - said Fruit Loops but had other allergen type cereals at the bottom of the container. Couldn’t eat any due to cross contamination
9. Tried oatmeal- wrong kind of oatmeal to just add hot water to. Couldn’t eat that either. Toaster took over 5 minutes to get the slightest toast. No juice. Hundreds of flies in the eating area.
Ended up going to a restaurant for breakfasts instead.
10. Definitely overpriced for this hotel, and of course, rates were jacked way up because of the festival.
Won’t go here again even if it’s the only place with rooms unless taken over and improved by new management.
