Stayed 2 nights with my husband. Staff friendly and the room, though very small, fit our needs. The cleanest place we have ever stayed, including places much more expensive. Met our needs just fine as we just needed a place to stay and shower in between our excursions.

We recently switched from hotels to motels and love the experience. Sunset Motel was a beautiful place to stay with all the flowers, and Armand greeted us with a smile and suggested dinner and breakfast places to dine. Our room was clean and very accommodating. I especially loved the Keurig in our room!

Was a very nice place. They were friendly at check in. Flowers were beautiful on the grounds. Room was very clean. We would stay there again if we came back to town.

What an amazing find!!! We were just stopping on our way through to Wisconsin and did not want to pay hundreds of dollars to sleep for a few hours, so we took a chance on Sunset Motel based on the reviews. I am super picky about hotels and am way over the top when it comes to cleanliness. (Yes, my kids think I am crazy). This was a truly fabulous experience in every way. The hotel was extremely clean (probably one of the best I have ever seen) and the room smelled wonderful. The owners are super nice and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The flowers around the hotel grounds are beautiful and so well kept. They also gave us some tips on some tourist attractions that we ended up going to and really enjoyed. He recommended Fayette Historic Village. It was a great stop on our way to our final destination. Thank you for making our stay 100% perfect. We will definitely be back.

The Sunset Motel is a family owned business. They want all their guests to have a good experience. We booked our 3 rooms directly with the motel in January for our July stay. You can park your car right at the door for easy loading and unloading. We enjoyed playing corn hole and sitting in the lovely outdoor area with many huge flower containers everywhere. Restaurants are within driving distance. There’s a pub restaurant next door to the motel that is not part of the motel. It was good choice on our first night after driving all day. The 1950s-60s decor is well maintained, updated and very clean. We really like the flooring.

This hotel is an absolute gem! The flowers are spectacular; the rooms are updated and extremely clean. The owners are naturally nice and surely go out of their way to make sure you are happy and fulfilled with your experience here. I had a question about the restaurant next door (Jonnies on 2, is also high quality) and because i couldn't leave my daughter alone he personally went next door and brought my food with a smile. He surely did not have to do that, but he did. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in St. Ignace, with my family or by myself.

Our room was very clean and the owners were wonderful. It is outside of town a couple of miles and is right on hwy 2 for easy access.

I was pleased to receive a personal phone call to ask about my approximate arrival time. Owner was friendly and helpful with all inquiries- restaurant recommendations, ferry info. Room was spotless, seemed newly updated, comfortable.
