A lovely hotel that is very convenient for the Anders Zorn museum - and is particularly appropriate for visitors to the museum as Anders Zorn himself used to visit this hotel

We spend weekend here for my birthday. Stuff didnt bother to give us any welcome information or explanation about parking payments. We try to get dinner in hotel but waitress asked us if we booked table?! We explained that we just checked in in hotel and we looked confused on all empty tables around. She made reservation for us in theirs system and we could be escorted to table! OMG! We stayed in premium room which was ok but outdated! Spa is not pleasure at all! Small swimming pool , 2 small jacuzzi that same group of guess spend hours in with cans of beer! Breakfast is pure disaster! Hotel is too big and all extra facilities it offer is too little for all guests who try to enjoy in stay. We will never come back here!

This is not a 4 star hotel. Far too many guests for the facilities on offer. Car parking - the hotel car park is not part of the hotel and although I emailed them in advance to book parking at 85k per night as they advertise, i received a parking ticket fine. When i explained to reception that i expected the parking to be included in my bill i was rather rudely told i should have read the signs in the car park! Breakfast - not enough staff, filthy tables not being cleared and buffet continually empty, poor quality food and no coffee cups, i was told sorry they are all in dishwasher. What amazed me was the Swedish guests just seemed to accept this! Spa - too small for number of guests. There are 2 small hot tubs filled with families who claimed them preventing anyone else using them one group had a pallet of beer cans at the hot tub so they could sit there drinking all afternoon.....nice. Room was just ok. Ìf the price matched the standard you might just think oh well cheap n cheerful but unfortunately this is an expensive hitel. My advice is to avoid it, not even travelodge standard.

Well established hotel in central location. Central (shops, church, lake) location near the little used Morastrand station or 15 minutes walk from Mora C. Plenty of parking. Rooms OK, good WiFi and shower. Breakfast (only) OK but supper excellent (open air seating in summer; bizarrely the restaurant payment machines have been programmed not to accept tips below 10% - though you can choose not to tip of course). Clean hotel, friendly staff.
