Bowls and cups had some debris inside. We booked a large room for 6 people but were only provided with 2 sets of small toiletries: shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and one hairdryer. We needed to call reception twice; there was no answer on the first call. We asked for more toiletries on the first night, and the lady at the reception said she couldn't provide them that night and told us to meet her at reception the next morning. I did, but no one was there. I went three times. I finally got more shampoo, body wash, and conditioner on day 3 when I luckily met a staff member at the counter. The jacuzzi in the master room was under maintenance and couldn't be used. Overall, I was disappointed with the facilities and services. I do not recommend this place and will not visit again.

Great stay at Windward Apartments. Directly across the road from the beach with interrupted (but still great) views of the ocean. You can park the car and walk every where. Unit was comfortable and clean (but a little dated). On-site managers were friendly and helpful. Games area for kids/ families, with entertainment packs for kids- great touch!

Great location
There was a family playing the pool table outside our room late at night. I messaged the staff and this was quickly sorted out. Very helpful
Even a room offering many games to take to the room to play.

Booked this 2 bed full oceanview appartment for us &friends from Canada. Management were lovely and helpful but cleanliness, safety and maintenance of appartment 17 was terrible! Arrived and unit door was wide open. Each night reception security door was not locked at 8.30pm as specified. Unit 17 carpets were thread bare and stretched, should have been replaced years ago. Both bathroom vanities were missing all their doors, unacceptable for over $300 a night. Mould/ rust on shower floor and ceiling in bathrooms( no exhaust fans) . Bathroom amenities were ridiculous and mean! one small tube of shower gel for 2 people for 2 days . All wardrobe doors falling apart,chipboard disintegrated onto floor. No iron or board. Microwave was electronically locked from use and oven was dirty. Balcony was dirty with rubbish left in corner. Balcony furniture was rusted out & dangerous as I torn my dress on the corner. Photos were obviously many years ago or of other units. This owner should be ashamed to present this at this price!- please see photos as evidence

Fantasic Holiday with kids
We had a wonderful stay at Windward appartments. Our family had very small children. We stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean view. The views were absolutely stunning. The location is perfect. Only a very short walk to the restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the swimming pool which was heated and the bbq area. The small touches like kids toys for the pool and board games really made for a special stay. The appartment block is very quiet and we felt like the only ones there most of the time. (Even though it was booked out).
I would love to send a special thank you to the host who were so helpful and did everything she could to make our stay with the kids very comfortable. The communication was just wonderful.
We would love to stay again in the future.

We take our family to Mooloolaba every January and we stay at Windward Apartments. It is well located at the Alexandra Headlands end of the Esplanade within easy an easy walk to the patrolled beach,rock pools and restaurants and the Surf Club with a supermarket across the street. The complex isn’t modern but it’s very well maintained,it has a pool with pool toys provided,a gym,games room and board games to borrow which the children love. Sandra and her team are very welcoming and friendly,we feel very comfortable here.
