Constance Moofushi

Having stayed at Constance Halaveli in 2023 and had such a great holiday, we decided to try Constance Moofushi this time around. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we had the most fantastic holiday. The management and staff at Moofushi are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble , and everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home .It certainly is a laid back, barefoot vibe, which made it easy to for my wife and I to relax from day one. We spent our lunchtimes at the a la carte Totem Bar, which had a varied menu with fabulous starters and main courses. Manta restaurant in the evening always had an excellent offering of food and drinks, with a different theme each night. Thanks to Gopan, always smiling, Nithin, for your wine expertise, Issie, for keeping our beach villa wonderfully clean. and Mevin and Manjoola for a wonderful experience we shall never forget. Where do I start? Having just returned from a second visit to Constance Moofushi, I was once again totally blown away by the island and the amazing staff and surprised that they all remembered us by our names. We stayed in a beach villa this time, having stayed in a senior water villa first time. The beach villa was just as lovely and was very handy for the bar and restaurant. The rooms are cleaned regularly (twice a day) and mini-bar re-stocked. We had our bed decorated with birthday celebrations and a last night message too. The whole island is a shoe free zone. It is a real Robinson Crusoe feel. The food was absolutely amazing and there was something for everyone. Every night had a dining theme, but there was always an Asian station, live cooking of meats and fishes, live pasta station, numerous salads, currys, vegetables and so much more. The chef even remembered that we loved the beetroot coconut curry and made a personal dish of it especially for us one evening. The barmen too at the Totum bar were great, making all the cocktails and made a cocktail that we found online, a coconut mojito which was delicious. Madu, Coco and the other sommeliers knew exactly which wines were to our liking and paired perfectly with the food chosen. They had introduced karaoke night this time which was a huge success. The DJ is great on disco night too and there was a singer one night and a Maldivian band another night. Mevin and Manjoola are so personable and will go to any lengths to make sure you are enjoying your stay - even apologising for the weather when we had one day of rain! Guests are also so friendly and we met a few couples that we remembered from our first time there, so repeat guests are plentiful which speaks for itself really. We will definitely be back, hopefully next year with some friends we met last time we were there.

My husband and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at Moofushi. First time at this hotel and it certainly will not be our last. We stayed in a beach villa which was very spacious and conveniently located. The island has a very laid back feel and you immediately relax. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is primarily in the main restaurant, Manta, which was my only reservation before I booked this hotel, but the food was delicious and as there is a different theme each night, it keeps the food varied. We were also able to mix it up a bit as we had 2 nights dining at the a la carte restaurant, Alizee (gorgeous fine dining food) and had lunch at the Totem bar a few times (the burgers, linguine and the chips are exceptional). Our highlights were snorkelling off the house reef, the wine tasting in the ocean with little reef sharks swimming around and the spa treatments which were heavenly. But the hotel's main asset is its staff. Every single person we came across during our stay was so friendly. A few special mentions. Binju in Manta restaurant, Sha in Manta bar, Isse who kept our room spotless, Madhoo the head sommelier (who always greeted you with the biggest smile), Luthi the head of food and beverages, Manjoola the assistant manager, who was fabulous and will be missed as she heads off to a Constance hotel in Mauritius and the super general manager, Mevin who is running a great ship at CM. The trip was for our 30th wedding anniversary and the team at CM went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. It was such a memorable trip and we cannot wait to return.
