Arrived at this property 10 mins after their reception had closed which is at 5 o'clock due to traffic, nobody at property except other guests, phoned out of hours number without success, never answered phone. Contacted Wotif who also tried without success, leaving us without any where to stay for the night, had to book alternative accommodation 30 mins drive away. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. Refund requested and declinded, never been contacted by hotel.

Our family of 19 stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my 70th birthday. Bree and Suzie made the accommodation booking process seem effortless and very friendly. The family were very happy with the family rooms and 1 bedroom suites while we were impressed with the rainforest cottage. The pool and surrounding amenities were well used and appreciated. A catered lunch was very efficiently organised by Suzie and prepared by the magnificent Chef and the assistances from “The Barrel”. Our complements to the chef and the assistants for providing a delicious and beautifully presented buffet lunch suitable for all including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. A special thank you to Suzie and Sharon for the bar service and assistance in meeting all our needs for the two days. We will certainly return.

This was an ideal location for a relaxing getaway. The facilities were perfect and the views are amazing. Staff went out of their way to help out, and we loved every minute. We will definitely be return guests and look forward to our next visit.

We booked on line with Agoda and when we arrived found that it was a contactless check in. No explanation on how to access the room. Ended up calling the after hours number but of course the mobile reception is not great. Very poor arrival experience. Rooms spacious and modern and relatively clean. Just a few ants and spiders in the room. Fridge wasn’t clean. Very peaceful sleep and great views. (Nice pillows) Complimentary continental breakfast. Stale pastries. Terrible orange juice. Apple juice was okay. Want a decent coffee it’s available and quite nice but it is not included. Reasonable but just no atmosphere.

So disappointed about the food. Continental breakfast included was terrible. Sourdough toast didnt even fit in the toaster supplied. Ended up ordering off the menu and the toast was rock hard and cold and the bacon was so hard and stale it looked as though it had been sitting at the bottom of a Bain Marie off a buffet for hours. It was harder than jerky and made a clinking sound on the plate when you picked it up it was hard and inedible and was supposed to be hot and fresh. The room was nice…. Staff were nice. Bbq area (shared area) was dirty and disgusting. Pool was fine. Very outdated décor outside the rooms.

Or stay at Clouds Montville was perfect for us. The days were sunny and overcast with a little rain which we liked. The service was next to none and all our questions were answered promptly. We would recommend anyone who was thinking of going there to stay, to go. The Continental breakfast was yummy every day. We will be going back again Jon and Susan

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend of a wedding....we stayed in a luxury cottage and found it amazing. It was well appointed, clean...there were some bugs. Given the rainforest setting that is expected and not an issue. We actually got engaged during our stay here and loved it so much we have booked for the the 2 nights after our wedding as our mini honeymoon. We cannot wait to come back.

We chose Clouds Montville for a 4 night stay, 7 chose a motel style unit with panoramic views out to Caloundra. The room was very spacious for a couple, with bedroom & living areas separate. There was a microwave & electric frypan available for meal preparation, & plenty of crockery & cooking implements, however, we chose to eat out or buy takeaways. The cafe on site provided the included breakfast, which although continental had plenty of options and quantity, however did not provide other meals, just sandwiches, rolls, wraps and cakes. The bed was very comfortable. Clouds has lovely, extensive & well maintained gardens, & a large pool area. Montville & Maleny & the surrounding areas are very picturesque, with lots of activities, shops,boutiques, wineries, restaurants and bush walks. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for three nights recently. Beautiful location with spectacular views and well appointed accommodation. I'd definitely stay here again. Great breakfast. The only criticism I could make is that there is no hot place in the rooms to cook on. Other than that it was great.
