Hampton Inn Montrose

I showed up one early evening in May, without a reservation. I just hoped there'd be a room available, and there was--one room. I got the last available room that evening, an accessible queen double. I was happy to take anything at all, since my plan to stay with family had unexpectedly gone awry. A few days later, I needed a room again. I was collecting a family member from the hospital, and necessary equipment could not be delivered to her house in time to take her straight home. I knew from my first stay that the location of the room I'd had would be perfect. Again, I was lucky when I called the Hampton. The room was available and I reserved it. On both occasions, the room was meticulously clean. It offered all the amenities we needed. The wi-fi was fast and dependable. The layout made it easy for us to negotiate, even with one person having limited mobility. The beds were comfortable and gave just-right support, not too soft and not too hard. The linens were fresh and had a good feel. We got a good night's sleep. Though the hotel is right on the highway and very close to the airport, the room was quiet throughout the night. We were both pleased with the breakfast selections. The dining area was comfortable and clean. The food choices were well stocked and monitored. The coffee was a cut above the usual. I appreciated Hampton Inn on each of these visits. I was lucky to get a room on the first visit and I was grateful to know I could count on good accommodations when I was in a stressful situation for the second. Thanks!

We stayed two nights at Hampton Inn Montrose for Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The hotel was in good condition. The room was nice. We walk to had dinner at Long John Silver's | A&W twice. The breakfast was good. The pools were excellent. The staff were helpful.
