The hotel is on a pedestrian street in the center of Montpellier. The street is lively, there are good restaurants in the area. Although there's a bit of street noise during the evening, the hotel provided a fan which delivered just enough white noise and cool air to make this comfortable---at least in September. Management is friendly and helpful. I was attending a conference at the Corum (Montpellier's conference center), which is less than 10 minutes walk, on pedestrian streets and through a park. The hotel wifi was reliable. No breakfast service, but there's an excellent bakery just down the street. Overall, I thought that the hotel offered an excellent price for a room that was well-sized for one person.

Petit hôtel sans prétention, extrêmement propre avec un service à l’accueil extrêmement chaleureux et sympathique cela fait plus de 20 ans que l’on ne m’a pas amené mon petit déjeuner dans la chambre et bien la croyez-le ou pas pour un prix modique il vous apporte votre petit déjeuner dans la chambre et en plus le pain est le croissant était délicieux merci encore Monsieur et Madame je vous remercie pour votre accueil

Propreté assuree et proximite centre ville appreciable. Mais plus jamais nous ne reviendrons dans ce lieu bruyant, austère, extrêmement vieillot . Nous avons été extremement déçus des propos tres limites du concierge.

Furtif passage à Montpellier
A quelques pas de sites historiques et culturels, j'ai apprécié l'emplacement de l'hôtel Les Etuves, j'ai pu, malgré la pluie et le vent 😏, eh oui, faire quelques découvertes dans les environs avant de sauter dans le train, à 300m. Le Peyrou, l'expo Depardon, et, pour me réchauffer, un joli plat au Comptoir Saint Paul.
Emplacement parfait et pratique même si il faut juste savoir que, lorsque l'on se fait accompagner en voiture par quelqu'un qui ne sait pas (et que l'on ne le sait pas soi même 🤔) que la zone est complètement fermée à la circulation, il y a un bémol : l'accès étant exclusivement piéton (non signalé sur le site), il fut bien compliqué pour arriver jusque là : nous ne connaissions pas la ville, il pleuvait et faisait nuit, les travaux d'extension du tram plus ou moins clairement signalés, des plots un peu partout, les GPS non à jour, l'expédition, après quelques tours du quartier s'est terminée, comme de juste, par une dépose à proximité, et hop ! arrivée et accueillie avec compréhension malgré l'heure tardive. Merci !
