Hotels near Notre-Dame des Tables Church, Montpellier

Communication with this hotel was good before arrival. We asked for a Superior double room on the first floor and this was provided for us. It was a large room with excellent air conditioning, comfortable large bed and pillows. Shower was excellent with hand rail for support. We were provided with two bottles of water on arrival, one bottle of water on the second day and nil bottles of water on the third day. Why? Toiletries that were used were nor replenished. Why? Tea bags that were used were not replenished. Why? The toilet area is separate to the bathroom area. You have to leave one room to go to another to wash your hands. The door to the toilet make a pretty awful creaking sound when opened and closed, disturbing my partners sleep at night. Housekeeping should be reporting these type of issues. The bathroom area has a glass wall. It does not give 100% privacy. When you switch on the light to wash your hands during the night, the whole bedroom lights up. The batteries for the remote control for the TV in our room were dead. Reception could not find any replacement until Daniel stepped in and gave us the ones from the reception remote. We found Daniel to be an excellent worker, tuned in to his customer needs. We were staying for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast offering never changed over the 3 mornings. It was pretty boring and we have had better. One staff member, a lady with bandana, took exception to me taking a tea spoon from a box on the counter, so I could stir my tea. I had used the one originally given to eat a yogurt. I felt like a school child. The same lady when cleaning off the breakfast tables would examine the cutlery to see if they had been used, if not she put them back on the table for the next person. Despite the above, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Reception staff were very pleasant. We liked the old world decor. The hotel is situated a few minutes from the train station.

This was a good hotel in a nice location in Montpellier. We had an early train the morning we left and the hotel is very close to the station, which was nice. The room was not very big, but most aren't in Europe! The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and had all the expected amenities. Close to the tram and other resources as well.

I spent 2 nights alone in one of the studios offered and everything was perfect ! For a fifty-euro (low season - end of January), it is even better than what could be expected: innocent cleanliness, hyper comfortable litter (i had even difficulty to get out of my bed in the morning), Very satisfactory room, kitchen equipped (with dishwasher and hot!) and separated from the room by a door, spacious Bathroom with large mirror, facilities (switches, takes, head lamps, ...) are ergonomic, No discomforts level noise, hot coffee-the-chocolate willing in the DRC, very polite and courtesy staff, in short, nothing to reiterate.

All aspects were good. The location was good, close to the central train station and three tram stops away. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Except for the last night when the door card didn't work.

Reservation already paid for 2 months on the reservation but when paying for the stay fees the person adds the price of the room I tell him I already paid she tells me not yet paid you I tell him no I have already been tapped on the day of my booking she told me good will see it tomorrow morning I tell her no if tomorrow morning I ask you to repay I do what I do she says I'll see with my manager because on the order it's not very clear she gives me my card For returning to my room and I never heard about her imagine you if I hadn't insisted I'd pay a 2nd time.

Located at the mayor house, very good view from the room, with spa center and swimming pool.

We arrived at 3pm, as had been agreed for check in, no one to welcome us but we knew it, why if you don't have any reception staff between 11am and 5pm, do you inform us that check in takes place from 3pm? If we had known, we would have shown up later. However, as soon as we try to open the door following the instructions they provided us via email, the booking code they sent me doesn't work, the door doesn't open and there isn't even a sign explaining that the door opens. The access is not that but a hidden door at the back! To reach it you go around the garden on the land and on the lawn. A kind local lady intervenes and helps us, we call assistance by phone and they explain to us that we have to access from the other side (at the back) the call costs us a good €12 (a theft), we finally go to the other door and we log in, we find the automatic check-in machine but even there, as it happens, the code doesn't work. we call assistance on the intercom (because only there - see the case again - there is an intercom to speak to an operator who immediately gives us another code which this time works. What do you think? For me it's all done artfully to steal the money from the call to the support call center. We honestly felt robbed. No one deigned to help us. Highly not recommended!

It’s a heartwarming thing to choose a hôtel purely on the basis of location only to find that it’s really a bit of a gem. We had an eight night stay at the beautiful Domain de Verchant, set amongst its own vineyards and parkland, only a few kilometres outside historic Montpellier. The rooms were both charming and well appointed , the food in the two different restaurants was really very good and the spa/ pool areas are quite wonderful with first rate facilities. However, it is the professional and friendly service that sets this hotel apart . Under the General manager, Jean-Pascal Picolette, thé team show their dedication and pleasure in looking after their residents, whether it be serving a poolside sandwich or a 5 course fine dining meal at their superb restaurant Marcelle. Excellent accueil de l'ensemble du personnel (réceptionnistes, personnel d'entretien, lingerie) hotel récent donc propre et bien conçu. Chambre bien équipée aux normes des trois étoiles, piscine, salle de fitness, petit dejeuner avec des produits de qualité, je recommande cet hotel pour son excellent rapport prestations/prix (chambre standard). A revoir le sauna n'a pas de douche ... (?).
