Lovely two night stay in elegant surroundings- of the house and the spacious garden. But the main standout is the standard of welcome from proprietors Celine and James, not just friendly but attentive and keen to help if needed (eg with local restaurant recommendations/bookings - we had hoped to dine in one night but the chef was away), The breakfast is high quality, notably the home-made preserves. The house is on a moderately busy road but the roadside river-facing room we had benefited from good sound insulation (and air conditioning). Secure parking off-road and on site. You can also enjoy drinks/wine on the terrace, and simple 'jar' meals are available if the dining option is not. Our room was spacious, with plenty of authentic character, in a good way. All in all a very enjoyable stay - we'd go again.

Le Clos du Roc - OUI!!!
Le Clos du Roc is a wonderful escape from the typical busy vacation accommodation. We had an amazing visit and the couple who are the owners & hosts are lovely! We definitely look forward to another visit and strongly recommend a visit in the Tours or Montlouis area.

Excellent séjour, bel établissement rénové avec goût. Nous avons occupé la suite Trianon pendant 3 jours, chambre immense, meublée avec goût, literie de qualité et très grande salle de bain. La présence de la route entre l’établissement et la Loire peut effrayer à première vue, mais l’isolation phonique est vraiment très efficace, toutes les chambres sont pourvue d’une climatisation individuelle et toutes ont vue sur la Loire. La table d’hôte est très sympa, on peut dîner ou petit déjeuner dans le jardin aux arbres centenaires. Pour finir , nos hôtes Céline et James nous ont réservé un accueil familial très chaleureux. Nous reviendrons certainement à l’occasion et pourrons essayer leur dernière chambre actuellement en rénovation complète et qui va être magnifique.
