absolutely the nastiest hotel I’ve ever seen. we paid for a room, went to the room and I kid you not I felt like I was in a movie where you’re in a super sketchy drug film and you would except people high on heroine staying. it smelled so bad of cigarettes and everything about it was very unsettling. the carpet looked like it was blood stains on it. we immediately walked back to the office and checked out and booked a different hotel room somewhere else. Of course the man wouldn’t give us our money back. I feel like they do that on purpose because they know no one wants to stay in this hotel. we paid 80 some dollars to walk in and walk right now. There was even another lady in the office when we walked back in complaining that she didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in her room and the guy wouldn’t give her money back and apparently they were fully booked so he could move her to a different room. I told Her she could have ours because we weren’t staying there. she agreed and was trying to find a different hotel room to go to as well.

This is THE most sketchy and dangerous place I've ever stayed. It wasn't good when we arrived, then became increasingly worrisome as the night progressed. Even my husband - who actually likes places 'a little on the edge' - agreed he was extremely uncomfortable with the place. If it hadn't been so late when we arrived, and the local patrons weren't gathered in the parking lot surrounding our car - and appeared to be 'making deals' in the parking lot, we would have left for the night and come back in the morning to pick up our stuff. My husband thought it was probably safer just to stay locked in our room for the night. The cigarette smoke soaked rooms were accented by drapes barely hanging over the windows. The bathroom tub seemed to have been painted at some point and the paint was now pealing off - or perhaps it had been soaked in acid at some point. The dirt and trash swept into corners throughout the hotel were piled high and had clearly not been cleaned in many months, possibly longer. Some of the patrons had chow in the parking lot and left the remnants and residue of their meals on the walls and sidewalks of the motel - chicken bones, greasy wrappers, crushed up beer cans, etc. The door locks did not include anything more than the door handle - it definitely did not inspire confidence in a good night's sleep. Then, to punctuate the atmosphere, someone came knocking on our door at 11 pm insisting she needed to talk to Chris - 'where's Chris' 'just let me talk to Chris'. Note to Chris - please let your customers know when you change rooms. Also, you might want to dial-back your business with that lady - she didn't seem to be doing very well. I guess I should have paid more attention to the signs at the front desk letting customers know they could not stay longer than 21 days at a time and must check out for at least 24 hours before they can move back in. That must be code for unsafe and sketchy. I will say the lady at the front desk was very friendly. The sheets appeared clean. And, so far, it doesn't seem like we picked up lice or bed bugs from this place. So I guess we got away lucky with our lives and our health. Do yourselves a favor, pay the extra few bucks, and stay anyplace else.

Absolutely disgusting. Rated as 3.5 stars on some platforms, shouldn't even be listed at all. Revolting. Drunks fighting in the parking lot. Filthy carpets, broken-down furnishings, insects, stained towels. I'd give more details, but I don't want to vomit. Save yourself, better to sleep on the street than to stay here.

Booked a non-smoking, king bed room for my young daughter and myself at this property. Immediately something seemed off. Upon check in we entered room 119. The room consisted of a filthy, sticky floor, a full size bed, a broken tv, and a filthy desk and disgusting bathroom. My daughter (8) immediately saw blood stains on the bed and stated "we can't stay here". I went to the front desk to try to rectify the situation, stating that the room that we booked was not that room and we can't stay in that room. The response was "you don't have to stay here!" So we didn't. I regret not taking photos. The bathtub looked like a body was dissolved in it, the room reeked of cigarettes and *********. We are fighting the property who is lieing, stating we were a "no-show". If we were a no-show how would we know the details of the room as well as the staff at the front desk? 8/4/2022, 3:30pm, 2 staff at front desk, 1 woman about 5'2" dark hair up in a messy bun, dark eyes, white t-shirt form fitted (this was the one who told me that I didn't have to stay), 2nd woman tall and blond, pink tank top complaining about her daughter (who was present) killing the battery on her phone, a young child (probably age 7-9, dark curly hair). This place should be shut down due to health code violations, fraud, and false representation. The photos online are not of the property. The only accurate photo is of the outside of the building. Do not book at this property.

I booked this room for my husband. He stays in hotels 20+ days per month. He delivers furniture sold on Etsy, Chairish etc. This is the second time EVER he said he couldn't stay at a hotel. He couldn't even find it because there are no signs and it looks like an abandoned building. He isn't picky. This place is DISGUSTING. We should not be charged. My husband is sleeping in his truck... and it doesn't have a sleeper cab. It doesn't even have a backseat. Oh, and as of right now they are saying he checked in when he walked in and walked right back out. $100 for a hotel that was too dirty to sleep in. He couldn't even find it at first because it looks like an abandoned building.

So me and my wife went to Monticello for the 4th of July weekend and rented a room with a jacuzzi. It was supposed to be our nice little short vacation. After starting the water to get hot for the Jacuzzi my wife noticed the wall on the other side of the bathroom was leaking. There was a huge leak and so we immediately stopped the water and went to tell in the front office about what had just happned. They gave us some towels and said that the room was old and nobody has stayed there in a long time just clean the water with the towels then they called the manager Shauna (excuse the spelling if it's wrong) and she promised to only charge us for 1 out of the 2 days that we're staying for. We did not directly speak to her but that was what we were told by the employees at the front office. We figured it's fine as long as we get a refund for the second day. Upon checking out Shauna was at the front desk and when we mentioned the refund she started screaming to get the F-Out of her Hotel and to go ride our bike (we had our bikes there that's true but she was rude and totally unprofessional and then she claimed that she never promised a refund and that if we wanted the refund for the second day that we should have left the hotel at the time of the incident. It was unbelievable the way she treated us and my wife so not only did we not get any refund we never got any reimbursement for the broken jacuzzi and the water damage that almost killed my laptop because it was on the floor charging. If I can leave 0 stars I would but this is unacceptable hope this helps someone who's thinking of staying there. Also I forgot to mention the drug dealer next room to us. There were junkies at all times during day and night knocking on his door and waking us up it was just not a pleasant stay to say the least. I'm sure that Shauna knows bout the drug dealing because there's cameras everywhere and a blind man would be able to see it.
