Old motel in need of a few hundred thousand dollars in renovations. I could go on and on about the pool being closed, cheap breakfast, tattered furniture, the ice from the ice machine smelling like curry, etc., but most of the reviews before this cover it well. Here’s my bottom line. The place was clean enough, and I felt safe there. Those are the 2 most important things to me. I can tolerate a lot as long as it’s clean and safe. The side doors didn’t lock as they should, but I think Monticello is not exactly a high crime town, so it didn’t bother me. If you have high expectations, you will hate this place. If you need a no frills place to crash for a few hours, you’ll probably be ok.

Hotel is clean but dated. I have to drive this way at least every 4 months - Pool has not been fixed in over a year ( 5 times). Simple breakfast but you can get a well rounded breakfast that's fresh (I eat early). This time the ice machine was out of order - unfortunately the refrigerator in my room was also out of order.

This property is in terrible condition and the breakfast (which was 1/2 hour late -- I'm sure they are short-staffed) was abysmal. Toast, bagels, hard-boiled eggs (which I wouldn't trust), cold cereal and apples. Our room did not have a working smoke detector (which is probably against the law), and it has clearly been neglected. Also, for some reason, there was not a coffee pot in the room (luckily we didn't want to drink crappy coffee anyway). We paid $73 for the night we stayed and cancelled the night a few days later that we had previously scheduled. It was not worth $73. More like $43.

Spent 1 night here in late April. The hotel guest person was very friendly. Had coffee in lobby. Breakfast - 7 to 9:30, 1 type of cereal, boiled eggs, 1 small muffin, yogurt, coffee/orange juice/apple juice, 4 to 5 tables It was crowded in the breakfast area the night we were there. Had good water pressure. Stayed on first floor. Good hotel spot if you are doing Natural Bridges or Arches.

The disappoint started as soon as we entered the front door... No breakfast, no pool. The area behind the desk was piled with soiled dishes. Then we got to the room, the desk chair covering was in shreds, no smoke alarm at all in the room, just bare wires!!! There are other hotels .... Don't bother with this one.

Siamo stati una notte 1 Luglio/2 Luglio 2023. Mi dispiace dover dire che è stato il peggiore degli hotel della nostra vacanza in USA. Hotel facile da raggiungere, sulla strada principale di Monticello. La camera era in realtà bella con letto grande e comodo (vedere foto). Ma la pulizia non era delle migliori, sul mobile della TV era evidente un sottile, ma ben visibile, strato di polvere. La cosa peggiore è stata la colazione che... non esisteva. Non so il motivo, ma non c'era quasi niente da mangiare (vedere foto). Al mattino neanche una persona dello staff era presente, era come tutto abbandonato. Abbiamo visto un ragazzo che sembrava un inserviente, ma probabilmente era l'addetto alla reception: abbiamo provato a chiedere gentilmente qualcosa a lui, ma non aveva voglia di risponderci. Per il check out abbiamo dovuto solamente lasciare la nostra chiave in un box alla reception. Anche noi lavoriamo nel turismo di ristorazione, ma non daremmo mai ai nostri clienti un servizio di così basso livello. Wi-Fi funzionante e buono.

This motel does not have an elevator. It needs some work. Our sink was cracked and the shower didn't have a lot of pressure. The AC unit made strange gurgling sounds. We had to request toilet paper when we arrived and I noticed the area behind the door needed to be cleaned. The breakfast is very limited.

Spend a little extra and go somewhere else, or save your money and sleep in your car. We got there and the room sleeps 6 people but was extremely crammed. The room was super hot and you had to close the bathroom door to use the toilet or shower. We went to get breakfast in the morning and the bread was stale and moldy. They had milk sitting on the counter top uncovered and in no ice. Yogurt was expired. Front desk person no where to be found. The eggs were also in bag of slimy liquid in the fridge. The eggs sitting on the counter top were also not in a ice bath.

Room was good. Bed was comfortable. Shower and hot water were excellent. Hotel is definitely in need of remodeling. Pool was closed, breakfast was not provided, and there is no ice available... would be nice to have but not worth complaining about but I want to make sure others are in the know. I stayed multiple nights and hardly ever saw the staff at the front desk other than at check-in.
