This Econo Lodge in Montgomery is old, unwelcoming, dirty and dangerous. We called ahead to tell them we were going to arrive late upon arrival the night auditor barely spoke to us and showed us a small stand on the welcome desk for us to read. We were tired and just wanted to sleep. So we decided to stay. We went to our room which had really old furniture. On the ceiling, the smoke alarm was missing with loose wires hanging. Before entering the bathroom, a light fixture was also missing with hanging wires too. At this point we just wanted to sleep. So when we saw several dirt spots on the bed sheets. We used one of our covers and slept on top of the bed. I rated and share my concerns about this hotel on the Choice Program app. I certainly hoped for more than just an apology because the Montgomery Econo Lodge did not simply fail my expectations. And this is the email I got in return from customer care. "Dear Claude, Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay at our hotel.
