This is a Residency turn into boutique hotel. Depending on the room you choose it’s a different vibe. We got a room in the outside of the main building and it’s like a private house with kitchen, bedroom and bath. Our daughter got a standard room in the main house. They have a fantastic Library in the main building hence the name “Biblio” It’s in a very nice neighborhood away from the city but close to shops. Recommended if you want to get away from the downtown hassle.

Todo excelente, perfecta ubicación, la habitación hermosa, muy limpia y moderna. Pedimos Late Check Out y nos lo dieron. El único tema es que cuesta encontrar alguien en la recepción, está desorganizado en ese sentido. Mismo el dueño nos autorizó Late Check Out y en La recepción en la mañana no estaban ni enterados. El resto hermoso! Súper recomendable! Sin duda volveremos.

This place took our money and wouldn't let us when we cancelled on an app by accident even though they had rooms available. They hung up on us and were incredibly rude. The hotel is old and run down and I give it my lowest possible recommendation.

Maravilloso lugar en una de las zonas mas lindas de Montevideo. A solo dos cuadras de la playa y del centro de Carrasco. La limpieza, atención y cordialidad del personal, invita a quedarse mas tiempo. Las habitaciones que dan al jardín tienen kitchenette y además, se admiten mascotas!!

Pagué toda la estadía al ingresar. Encontré todo fuera de mantenimiento y limpieza, decidí irme y...NO ME REINTEGRARON el pago de los 4b días siguientes. NO decía en ningún lado que la reserva era NO - Reembolsable, sin embargo el propietario del Hotel, NO aceptó reintegrarme los 4 días siguientes. En otra opinión en tripadvisor subí fotos que documentan lo que expreso

unfortunate cleanliness conditions. We have booked to enjoy some days in this mansion, BUT a great deception comes! At arrival the receptionist ask a mandatory FULL CANCELLATION of reservation, never that happen in any hotel but, unfortunately, I do cancel ALL During a first evening, 3 times the power goes down, after the third episode didn´t work and we should be moved to other room! After all of that and with the unfortunate cleanliness conditions, that we saw, decide to leave the hotel on next morning. NOT REFUND OF next FOR NIGHTS was accepted by the owner!!! WE LEAVE THE HOTEL AND THE OWNER DO NOT ANSWER MORE ANY EMAIL. PLEASE DO NOT PAY IN FULL on arrival, if anyway you decide to visit this Hotel.

Nos quedamos en el hotel una noche - todo perfecto. El lugar es hermoso, distinto, clasico. Pedimos una cena especial y la prepararon sin problemas. Fue una estadia perfecta y recomendamos el lugar a aquellos que buscan algo diferente en Carrasco!
